I thought we were done after England scored that very soft try. Looking at the replay Itoje stops Beard from jumping in the line-out. Or at the very least interferes causing the scoring opportunity for England. Look at his smile he knew what he did and he got away with it. So how can Liam Williams's yellow incident be seen but Itoje's actions were ok? We know refs aren't going to be fair at Twickenham that's just how it is. My biggest gripes are we still have the same problems even with a new coaching team three years in nearly. Our attack is poor not being able to break the gain line consistently. Setting up clever plays to break defences. Yes we fought back well why not start like that. This England side was beatable but we gave them easy points. Why din't we stop making the mistakes and adjust to the game. I know its hard. I do think a message from the coaches and the captain should be enough to change things. I don't know were we stand at the moment because we are way below our best but not at our worst. France at home we must front up even more. Because this France will blow England and Wales away with ease. With the way both teams are playing France aren't going to be scared.

I agree on the England try, shouldn't of been one. But I think we need to look at the first half, and question why we struggled so much at the breakdown. In terms of the coaching team, I do think we are still looking for a true identity for this team, and that needs to come quick. France will be tough but I do think we will make it tough for them under the lights in Cardiff!

For me the sloppyist game for me England did not look convincing in my opinion they only scored 1 trie. Ireland would not be scared going there in the next rd if m Smith is delth with then England get delth with

Who to say Wales did not play well that second half lol like you say, 3 tries to 1 but it's the scoreline that matters, Wales, England wins next week, just you watch!

And? The WC is every now and then. The North has always seen the six nations as the best tournament and will keep doing so. Far more history!

England can be as 'dominant' as they want, doesn't mean Jack when they can't actually score tries legally.
Their only try is very suspect as Itoje 100% stopped the lift and got away with it.
You watch it back and you'll see Welsh players arms in the air to the linesman even before Dombrandt scores. They know what happened, plus itojes faces afterwards.
So like you, I'm happy with the response, some calls are suspect, players not supporting weight, Nowell not releasing Cuthbert etc, but hey ho.
I'm happy that with a bit more vocal notification given to tbe ref about the line-out (not just the try one but others were England encroach with no sanctions) Wales win that game and embarrass England 3 tries to 0.....COMFORTABLY

The try shouldn't have stood as you said, but the first half really killed us off, we would of won the game. It's the breakdown that the focus needs to change to for us now!

Uninspired England, all credit goes to smith for any action… wales were brave in defense as always but damn almost everything was approximative, from the lineout to the attack… well done on getting the defensive point though :)
I feel like wales are in for a long long day next week against a confident France with much more firepower and inspiration than this stale England

For England I do think that they look a little one dimensional, but expect them to be better v Ireland, because they will have to be. Wales as you said defensively were solid, but need to learn to play from minute 1, not when we are trailing, and have nothing to lose!

@@BSRUGBY France is having Covid issues with Penaud and Taofifenua out (at least) and are doing a 5-3 instead of the planned 6-2 so wales will be getting a weakened French side. The starting 15 is still remarkable with Moefana swapping for Penaud

Oh the Golden boy costs Wales again, completely ignoring Tompkins in added time. Watch Tompkins reaction and what he thinks of Biggar. That being said, I'm glad Wales fronted up second half and made it respectable. Why didn't they start like that?! Also, must say Dombrandt robbed for Man of the Match again.

    • @BSRUGBY
      @BSRUGBY  2 роки тому +2

I disagree on Biggar, there were bigger mistakes and moments for this team, credit has to go for England at the breakdown, and as you say I thought Dombrandt was amazing!

3 TRIES to 1 we were so undisciplined and at 17-0 we were up against it, but came back with 3tries to 0 IN 2nd half, plenty to work on, but better discipline and decision making, and we could get in France's faces.

England apart from Marcus Smith, Freddie Steward and one or two others don't look all that good right now.
Be proud of that second half, though I know that's maybe slim consoluation
