Boycotting may not harm Israeli economy, but it does harm friends of Israel, who fund, support and promote Israel, and whose support and pressure on other governments allows Israel to exist and continue the genocide.

@@laurant4282 i think these boycotts are useless. what we really need to focus on is pushing our muslim countries especially those with oil to place embargo with western countries. then we will see actual change. otherwise it’s all talk and huff and a lot of sheeps trying to gain clout while our brothers and sisters in palestine continue to suffer
And in case you haven't been following, it's founder was part of a WhatsApp group of Zionist billionaires that planned to pressurize Eric Adams the mayor of new York and by donating to his campaign, to send in NYPD to Columbia university. So yes, 100% boycott of Starbucks.
Targeted boycott is when you pick 2 or 3 things to boycott, it’s more effective then broad boycott. For example, it’s ok if you go buy an Israeli computer because that is hard to avoid, but then you should avoid McDonalds and Starbucks because those are easy to avoid. Target the weak points and then the whole system will collapse

Say, Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment or the Hour - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers. ~ Qur’an 19:75
What i understood from this brother is that boycotting on the grassroots level ie brands, as opposed to sanctions and divestment, will probably not be most impactful on the political level. That is, my boycotting McDonald's, Starbucks, PureGym etc may not stop the suffering of the Palestinians. However, we still do it because it is not as simple as making a direct impact; boycotting is just one prong. I think many of us have this misunderstanding about boycotting that it doesn't change the grand scheme of things hence pointless.
We should go a step further and support Muslim owned brands. Muslims should create bbrands which compete with the zionist ones so people have choices and options and then list these companies to support for example. Eidparty for decorations - a great company for parties. Jack Murat for coffee Australian Muslim brand but they deliver to the UK. Lets reply here to make a list of muslim owned brands that you want to promote so we can invest in them
It doesnt really matter if it works or not. If you buy their products youre indirectly funding their ideals. Based on that alone you shouldn't buy from corporations like that weither it works or not. We dont need their products anyway
The thing is MC Donals or Starbucks are not key industries. Key industries would be German car manufacturers e.g. ..instead of German car let’s by Japanese etc. these would really hurt the friends of the Child killer army.
We had all this oil money invested in the west, places like major cities, London, newyork and Paris by golf states. It's time to invest in emerging economies in Africa, Turkey and other states around the world that are Muslims. Enough is done to prop up economies that are hostile to Muslims, it's time to change course, look after your own Muslims and create the conditions that will enable them to prosper.
I completely disagree. The stuff he said wasn’t impactful is the most impactful. If you can break Starbucks. That’s actually possible and will cause change. The other stuff he mentioned is not gonna happen soon enough to actually move the needle.
It’s indirectly had a significantly massive net positive on this topic, as independent media has changed the global (or more like global north and western POV) of the actual reality in Palestine and like they said, due to independent media (and social media), the horse is now bolted!!!

The impact of all boycotts is neglectable, if you are comfortably living in a Western society and contribute to the military support of Israel with every penny spent or earned via the taxes collected from these transactions. Shouldn't it be highest priority of a conscious Muslim to make Hijra to a country that does not support Israel?
But if all the righteous muslims and even the other pro-palestine non-mulims left those countries...those countries would be left to do as they please and would never stop supporting israel.
