Should I buy one of these sticks and do a full review and see how the SlingTech actually affects on ice play and performance? Let me know below this comment.
No because it wouldn’t work, a low kick stick needs a really stiff blade to prevent it from twisting. Le stick would snap or you would rip absolute muffins.
The Reebok o-stick was by far my favorite sticks ever. They just had durability issues. They lost some performance when they went to the 8.0.8 but still had durability issues. Just bought a sling for my boy. Broke his geo and they didn’t have his flex for a replacement. Should be interesting
Hey, I have a geo now, and I love it. I think it is going to break though. I am a defensemen. Do you think I should buy this (because it looks really cool, and has cool tech), or just get another geo? Or maybe go in a different direction like an FT4 pro?
I have a hard time recommending CCM when they release sticks every 4 months. If you are looking that way I always suggest trying to get the previous model. With that said, you have to decide what you prefer more. If you like the softer blade feel of the Geo this will be quite different. So just depends on your preferences.
Probably not, I don't feel like paying full pop for CCM sticks every year when the only big changes happen the 2nd year. Feels like I am just supporting CCM doing repaints on sticks at this point.
@@HockeyReviews That's very fair and reasonable however I thought you'd definitely pick up the FT4 pro because the ft3 pro is your favorite stick ever.
Air has nothing to do with SlingTech, the hole is there to allow the blade to open up and the "Sling" back into place when shooting. It doesn't have anything to do with air resistance or anything like that.

Probably
Yeah
Yes please
I wish they had a sling tech blade on one of the vapors, I would love to try it while staying with the low-kick

The Vapor X60 had an extremely soft blade, so it's something they've done before.
What would be better is to have the ER spine on a vapor model. That would be the ultimate Bauer stick
@@azm7546 er spine is what makes the geo kick point mid lmao it wouldn’t work on vapours
yes

Reebok stick was called O-Tech I think. That’s the one Datsyuk used.
I just got the stick, and it honestly feels unbeliavable, the shots feel effortless and they are going 420kmh.
That is compared to a hyperlite.
420kmh?

I have the ft4 pro and I do not like it at all. Too thin and my shots just feel really week. I’m getting the sling today and I’m very excited.
What’s the difference between the nexus adv and the sling? Can we see a comparison video?
I don't have a Nexus ADV so unfortunately I can't compared them side by side.
Has anyone gotten the sling mini stick?
Can you do a review on the hyperlite
I asked him and he said he was still getting comfortable with his thoughts on it
It is coming up!
Ya, buy one brotha.
You should review the Warrior Alpha LX Pro
Tell Warrior that ;)
nice!
I bought the stick before they advertised it. My shots are coming off harder compared to the flylite
Nice review, I'm guessing you'll try the FT4 pro too?

Just wanna say you’re brave for using pride tape i could never do that at my home rink. Hopefully someday tho!
Hopefully that changes for you!
What curve is that on the Sling?
P92
What is the kick point
Same as Nexus
Mid
Is this twig made in the USA?
No top end sticks are made in USA.
@@HockeyReviews none? So Chana
*china
Warrior makes their pro sticks in Mexico, no one makes pro equipment in America but Vaughn for their goalie gear.
@@HockeyReviews thank you
Sooo... after I tape my stick, does the air go right through the tape? Am I missing something?

@@HockeyReviews Ahhh, ok. I appreciate you for the explanation.
I have the stick
Sling or geo
If you want a more dampened blade go Geo. If you want a pingier blade for Sling
This is the ugliest stick when you look at it beside the geo and adv. don’t like the looks
It is definitely a weird direction to go in.
Grown man with some rainbow tape
What does being a grown man and having rainbow tape have anything to do with eachother?
Stick is so ugly. Looks like one of those “exclusive” sticks from my local pro shop that costs 100$
