I will use the new Off-Season Domination Program to get better in all area of my game. I will train like I never trained before to dominate on the ice next season.
Training with the team and trying to get as many sessions out on the ice as possible! Using your off season program this year and really hoping I can up my game. Thank you for your great content and advice!
On this off season my plan is to work on patients w/ puck control. As well as forehand/backhand saucer passes. And then to round it all up work on a stronger, quicker and more accurate wrist shot. Thank you for your videos as they have helped my hockey skills and overall hockey enjoyment. Keep up the great work.
Great video.. These are the vids I look for when buying sticks for my kids. My two daughters play AAA and go to camps twice a week in Minnesota. So busy busy
This off-season I will be working on quick feet ladder drills, along with explosive first step. I will also be working on the accuracy and consistency of my shot. Not only that but I am going to start building my confidence and preparing my mind for next season, confidence is everything
In the off season I am working on my skating form. Also I am working on stick handling with my head up and getting a more powerful shot. I have been recently exercising to get stronger for a better shot and more speed. I want to make it to the NHL and doing this will for sure step up my game.
Good video, but also have to keep each stick kick points in mind. Where your gonna have a harder faster and nicer shot with the high kick point sticks like the Super Tacks, while the sling, warrior & true have mid kick points, and the CCM a hybrid, the high kick points are gonna come off nicer. Everyone is different and some sticks feel good for some and some not so great for others.
This off season I’ll be playing lacrosse, hockey (showcases, tourneys, etc.), roller blading, working out over the summer, shooting outside, and working on balance while stick handling on my balance board
I hopefully will be giving lessons this off-season. I work at a camp as a counselor and will hopefully add hockey sessions to this camp and through this, I will on the side hopefully improve my game as well!
This off season I am going to be working on my skating, core and hands. I even got most of the workouts from you. It would be so cool if i was picked to get the sling.
Diet, picking up some roller blades and getting some shooting aids. Just picked up the True Catalyst 9x and used it for the first time in my beer league last weekend. Nice puck feel, good power off the rip.
Good video, but also have to keep each stick kick points in mind. Where your gonna have a harder faster and nicer shot with the high kick point sticks like the Super Tacks, while the sling, warrior & true have mid kick points, and the CCM a hybrid, the high kick points are gonna come off harder and feel more effortless. Everyone is different and some sticks feel good for some and some not so great for others.
No off season for me. I play 3 times a week all year round. I also get on ice coaching from an ex AHL/NHL player which has been a game changer in beer league. With drills on power and agility and deception drills has been incredible. I will be putting some ARC workouts in there for good measure. No off days!
This off-season I’ll be definitely working on my power and speed and most importantly my explosiveness. Maybe dable in some 3on3 to keep the legs moving but hoping to see some major improvements from my self
This off-season I started running in the park on Thursday because then it's my only free time. Seriousness in training is important and weekend muscle building exercises are important to me. I tried to eat healthy easily. Every morning a sake with oats and more and broccoli with meat for lunch
This off season I’m going to hit the gym way more and make sure I eat right and stay hydrated. I’m always gonna work on stick handling and my shot accuracy
I'm gonna work hard on my stickhandling and shot power of the off-season and all of summer to better my skills and hope to play AAA next. As well as going to the gym 3-5 days a week to better my strength skills on the ice.
I’m pretty sure I’m not going to get a LIKE but I never did care for it anyways. So yeah, NOPE!!! Watching this, it felt biased. Next time, tape/mask the sticks and do the tests all over again. Sticks doesn’t make the player. I’ve played & I’m playing w/ all kinds of stick brands. Flex, kick point, there’s so many variables. Let’s say you used Bauer at the end of every tests, where you got to the point of the your style of flow is hitting the right marks but then come tmw, let’s put Warrior at the end of every tests, guess what, Warrior seems to be the stick for you after all these “warmups” That’s why I frown upon these kind of tests.
Working as hard as I can going to skates meant for players who are a bit better than myself. Challenging myself on the ice, off ice in the gym and using some of your programs along the way.
This off-season I will definitely be focussed and dedicated to work on my speed, explosiveness, my shot getting stronger and definitely will be in the gym
In the offseason, I like to get out all my hockeyshot products and make an obstacle course to work on stickhandling and awareness. I also like to run, helping me with my endurance and leg strength.
