Have you ever wondered that both Bernard and Peter could be weird personalities and just clashed because their characters didn't match? Neither of them may be right, they just have strange personalities and do not want to admit their mistakes ...
They lasted longer than most bands, if you were told you had to work with the same group of people for 40 odd years it would probably be a daunting prospect.
That's what I think, just mismatched agendas and personalities. They both seem like good people deep down although hooky seems a bit more of a loose cannon.
I don't think the smiths would ever get back together and I don't think that hooky would ever get back with new order because of his band the light, I think hooky is comfortable in that role now. Morrissey and Mark E Smith sound like total Knobends that would never give you the time of day!
@@jmancali no one said his playing is shitty, hooky was great in new order. I simply said, I find what Bernard is doing now more creative than simply playing your past LPs. I don’t agree that people aren’t up and dancing or singing along, I’ve recently seen them twice in the last few years, both times I witnessed people up and dancing and singing along. As for ego, both Bernard and hooky have those, that’s the problem.
Rob Gretton was right, despite his constant whining about wanting to be dead, he hasn't the guts to actually do it, so he will just hold up in his Beverley Hills "Spanish style estate" and cry about cheeseburgers, and how life is so cruel and how he wises he were dead...as the cash rolls in.
If you mean in the songs, there's hardly any of that. And the speakers in the songs are characters. I can only speak for the Smiths songs really. Anyway, I don't think anyone, you or Rob Gretton, should turn around and criticize someone for not doing something they definitely shouldn't do, whatever they said before.
Hi it would have been nice if you had just reviewed the new album but the fact your response was mostly positive was. Cool after the smiths imploded the media then the NME have Tried to kill Morrissey off due to his so called right wing sympathies today it’s the guardian and every other TV personality sticking the knife in.morrissey is many things but racist is just silly Alex Baldwin is black and Morrissey has his image all around .l believe it’s the loss of British culture that’s slowly been disappearing but if any one makes a comment on immigration or the number of places of worship in Luton he is declared a racist when in fact is just talking about something that is not allowed to be discussed. Morrissey is a living icon only after his death will his true contribution to pop culture music be truly appreciated we will not see anyone do what he has done with the smiths and his solo work .. the secret of music. His basslines made Joy Division every bit as much as Ian Curtis.
And we’ve had 10 more years of the fight, Peter
And sadly, he caused much of the problems.
Sounds like a truly joyless division.
Gary numan, Steve Jones , Johnny marr, peter hook super band
I don't think the smiths would ever get back together and I don't think that hooky would ever get back with new order because of his band the light, I think hooky is comfortable in that role now. Morrissey and Mark E Smith sound like total Knobends that would never give you the time of day!
I laughed out loud when he said Bernard got Johnny Marr in the divorce haha
James. Last Big Thing. Love 'em.
Derek Hatton benefit gig?
Hooky is great.
Peter Hook ,,, Corrrr!
New Order have a song called unlearn this hate...but i can't see it happening

A woman said "I know my son is dead, I'll never rest my hands on his sacred head"
I find Bernard is a creative, he wants to move forward. Hooky less so, he's happy to relive past glories. I personally prefer Bernards direction.
@@karaloca it was a personality clash
A one minute plus advert at the start? For fucks sake fellas sort it out.
ngl i thought that was alex jones
It makes me so sad that I know a bunch of nietzschean bass lines what I wrote and poor Peter don't know none of them
Nice one
Such a top geezer
No. The Pixies aren't being 'dissed' at 7.15
mrm cairns Agreed...Dissing Tony's bad judgement.
the only thing we have left as a city is that the smiths are not coming back together lmao
I love the British way of thinking to joke about the shit that happens on life.
that is a nerdy thing
marvin silverman it’s a northern thing.
Yeah "British" sure sure
the humor british is nerdy

They are rich now, so they don’t need each other anymore. They have ‘artistic’ differences...
New Orders latest cd Music Complete is perfection.
The Man
Hooky.. the lad next door ;)
chronically bad as a dj hooky
Love MORRISSEY! I wish he would get back with NO. Saw NO 5 times in the 80's. Morrissey about 70+ times.
Er what? Morrissey was never with New Order. Morrissey was The Smiths' singer and they're even less likely to play together than Pete and Bernard are.
@@jennyjohn704 Duh. Ik that. I meant I wish Hooky was back with NO
hi Peter I'm Martin From Rhyl Tony Sweetmans sons partner in business, do you have any work in Landscaping or decorating?
wow that looks just like Peter Hook
Hasn't the guts to kill himself ...? It takes guts to live you silly bitch.
Happy 58th birthday, Peter Hook!! :)
Indeed
I get your point and agree. It's James Baldwin by the way. And he's a big fan of Dick Gregory. Definitely not racist.
manchester is the best City in the world. 💗💗
Interesting Hooky is talking with middle class accent now same time Morris is still talking with stick northern accent.
Bollox his accent may have softened slightly out he’s still pure manc. I should know I was speaking to him last week when he was out walking his dog.
Nearly 60? Fucking hell. Top, top bloke
It's pretty egotistical to act like they're not new order without him when its three of the originals, doesn't happen with other bands
Honest to a fault.
I didn't know how funny 'ookie is.
Mmmmmm!!!!.....wonder what the truth is as regards,..... 'sitting down and talking about it' ??.....
Has Hook had brain implants, that enable him to think?
