- in this video I get out back to the spot where I was with the pros to load the truck with more firewood
the 064 didn't want to play, so lots of footage of the bug bore 7900! this dolmar/ Makita chainsaw continues to impress.. but is it as strong as a factory 7900?
Gotta love a day in the woods, itching to get back home and deal woth my log pile!
You've got a lot to get through!
Shame about the starter M8,
Chuck a couple of mtrs in the glovebox of yer truck.
I found that I made the " 1 Saw " mistake, one time only 😂
Yeah it was, the rope was still there.. just inside the cover.. need a torx skrench
Maybe the 7900 is running lean or has a slight air leak? Seemed slow to return to idle once it was warmed up. Sounds and looks lovely in the cut though.
It's definitely not 100% happy, I was adjusting it a lot during this video. It wasn't starting well, but would then start perfectly after I flicked the kill switch.. so I'm thinking dodgy kill switch and or the coil isn't well. As I got the low jet richer it didn't do that rev hanging before coming back to idle.
What chain do you have for the 7900? I have decided that the Stihl chain is probably the best that you can get in the UK. I don't think the Oregon chain holds its edge very well. Have you seen the Atop racing chain?
I tend to get Oregon 73lpx, Stihl RS is just ££, but probably is the best. I really like husqvarna c83 as well.
Both Stihl and Husqvarna chain is overpriced have you tried any other brands? @@walkerscountrylife
