Scorpio N with side folding 3rd row will be an absolute game changer. It would have killed the scorpio classic. But I think they did that on purpose so that both segment sells.
Side folding isn’t safe and reduces crash test rating by massive margin.
@@JamesRodriguez10783 then they should do the crash test first of current model after that they should launch side facing seats actually they are more practical that front facing seats
Nothing can beat the scorpio classic... we love it for what it is for the past 2 decades...

There are so many Auto Vloggers in the market and on UA-cam nowadays and all have many (some even having millions) followers, but when it comes to proper scripting and professional manner of presentation, the real pros always have an edge. Keep up the good work Autocar and don't worry about followers or likes. You are what you are, the true classic automobile review experts. 👍🏼
This indeed was a much needed review. Most of the car lovers this year have been kinda disappointed with the 1st impressions on safari n Scorpio n later tried accepting it. It feels plush n rough with the new scorp n safari, the rugged anywhere to go character is what most ppl kinda missed ... the cars have their own place in one's heart. However an upgrade to such levels never hurts. Good decision on keeping the classic as well.
Eagerly waiting for the next comparison, would be very useful.

This series should have an episode 4 which compares XUV700 to the Alturas and questions the existence of the Alturas. I mean I know both cars are so different but then it would really be fun to watch

I wonder about classic’s safety. Scorpio Classic failed miserably when it was crash tested and it still underpins the same platform.

Haven't we all see more than enough Toyota Fortuner owners disappoint with bad driving?
Anyone with these huge almost 2 floor SUVs in the middle of cities are the same. I've seen Fortuners, Scorpios and Endeavours with just one person in peak hours going through single lane city markets. They're often rude and honk as if that's going to solve the traffic people like them caused in the first place.
Hi, why dnt companies increase car length in order to make third row more spacious n comfortable. Is there any parameters restriction on that?

Booking receipt par 120 din ki waiting written main mili thi but lagta hai ki 120 din bhi poore ho jayenge lekin car milne ki ummid nahin dikh rahi hai tata Showroom walon se jab bhi baat karo to ek hi jawab milta hai ki bas ek do din main aapko gadi mil sakti hai aur jab se aapne car book Kari hai tabhi se ek bhi car Sell nahin huyi hai but abhi tak mujhe car nahi mili, aisa lagne laga hai ki Showroom walon ka mujhe gadi dene ka man hi nahi hai main apni life ki first car le raha hoon but Tata walon ne sara experience kharab kar diya hai
Lagne laga hai ki mujh se baad main book karne walon ko car di ja rahi hai kyonki 110 din main ek bhi car showroom walon ko nahi mili ho aisa lagta to nahi hai

Good thing about mahindra is ,they have a SuV for all cuatomers now,right from Bolero to Neo to xuv 300 to scorpio classic to scorpioN to xuv 700.So they buyers arw mostly with Mahidra for an Suv

Xuv 700 undoubtedly for me! Infact, for me, Xuv is a mix of both the other cars.
Will put some more money n get Alturas.
If not luxury car makers should atleast provide comfort whether in terms of 2nd row or 3 rd row seats plus should give a practice design for boot space.
Scorpio Classic looks like Carrier vehicle
The N kinda reminds of the Hyundai Terracan in its silhouette and styling
The Scorpio-N and to a lesser extent the XUV-700 both have very little boot space when the third row is up. Also, unlike the second row in the Tata Safari which can be moved forwards or backwards, the second row seats in the Scorpio-N and XUV700 are fixed, making them less desirable as 7 seaters.
The Scorpio Classic with its side facing seats doesn't suffer from either of these problems. It can seat 7 people AND carry more luggage and leg room in the third row is not cramped due to the second row. Overall, the Scorpio Classic is the more practical vehicle. The Scorpio-N is disappointing.
Safari is not in the same league..it's Monocoque. Xuv and Safari comparison makes sense.

The fact that a feature like automatic transmission in a Scorpio can topple the market of other Mahindra suv-s reminds one , how big scorpio's fan following is .

Scorpio n have much bumpy springs like thar and land cursiner. It's great results in slow hard core off roads but not results in road performance.

Maruti and honda has mastered how to use the space, looking at the size of big daddy, M&M should have managed the boot space while 3 rows on.. size does matter inside too
