I think Gordon used too many ingredients for this recipe, and something that I've been learning with Italian cooking videos/blogs/books like Pasta Queen & Mateo is that you literally find perfection out of simplicity; the fewer elements to a dish the richer its flavors will be. 😌
He seems to be a bigger extra vergine olive oil addict than Jamie Oliver, which is saying a lot. I hope, there's an olive oilaholics anonymous, where they can be treated. They're wasting too much of good oil all in the wrong places. Why? They're neither doing themselves nor their oil any favors.
I just found your videos yesterday, and I'm having SO much fun watching you and your fabulous style of cooking. Pretty lady and a great sense of humor.
Anyone who's been to Italy knows this is exactly how they feel about food. Italian cuisine is delicious! One would think there's a LOT that goes into it but their ingredients list is always so simple. They are the masters of it. The world would be a better place if everyone simply kept it Italian: just simple & gorgeous ♡
Absolutely brilliant commentary!!!😂 Bravi ad avergli fatto le scarpe! Le evoluzioni si ma sempre il rispetto verso le linee guida tradizionali ❤ You should do more of this! You're amazing pasta queen, romana e verace come me. A Roma nun se gioca con la pasta!😉
I believe he's touring with an Italian chef ( the one who said if my grandma had wheels she'd be a bike ), maybe that guy corrects Gordon's horrendous view on Italian cuisine
I would’ve just used garlic and not worried about shallots, used parsley instead of basil and anchovies with a few ladles of pasta water instead of the stock. I think linguini would’ve been a better pasta choice over thin spaghetti also. Just my opinion and how I would’ve done it
He overtalked it...again. Just take a look at his scrambled eggs. You can complicate everything or make it simple just to enjoy the flavour of the best ingridients. I think this is the essence of any cuisine. Nothing more, nothing less.
Lmao. In middle school I had a brief obsession with pasta, but you know, Americanized chain restaurant pasta. But I think the first time I had shrimp scampi at freaking Red Lobster, it wasn't on pasta but in a small ceramic baking dish nearly bubbling over with garlic, butter, olive oil. So delicious to my tweenage taste buds. Over the last decade the trends turned to shrimp scampi on pasta, and then it kept morphing into this kind of dish that's loaded with onion and veggies. This looks more like a generic "shrimp primavera" pasta at Olive Garden, which I totally would have ordered back then too. 😂 I have been educated on the ways of homemade scampi now thanks to the Pasta Queen cookbook ✌️
Gordon is a legit Michelin Star guy, for sure. He’s best with beef, lamb, shepherds pie, chicken, etc., at least from what I can tell. He’s taught me a lot of these videos. For Italian, I’m going to TPQ from now on. 😂
Gordon cooks his "impressions" of many classic dishes ~ in a frenetic style that lacks clarity and knowledge of what he is doing and why. Still, he made his Frankenstein shrimp scampi in under 10 min, like he promised. But Parmesean on seafood ~ that I just can not abide.
Gordon, you need to listen to the pasta, queen and bro they know what they’re talking about. I watch them with the love they have with the food that is presented for us or their people believe me anything they put on the plate I’m going to eat or I’m going to try to make because they are truly authentic❤
“Don’t make this dish at home. It is dangerous, disappointing.” Hahahaha. And I just love her reactions. She is literally upset and disturbed. It’s almost like she’s watching a horror movie. Her whole body tenses and she even holds her partners hand tightly! I love you so much, pasta queen! By the way, I can’t eat gluten or dairy, and I still watch your videos all the time!
I gasped at the same time when he put olive oil into the boiling water for the pasta like no!!! That's some early 2000's misguided cooking 'trick' right there.
I'm so glad you did this because I would always complain about how he makes certain dishes & limits the amount of parsley when that imparts amazing flavor 😂❤😂
I love them both. They cook different styles pasta queen says never but she has a couple of recipes thst she does cook tbe dried pasta in the sauce no big pot of water etc. And there's so many horrible recipes on youtube that we should get these people. People just post any bad recipe lately trying to get views instead of a job. Gordon is basically a good cook who didn't follow stricter italian tradition.
Time ,time, time, saving time! meglio andare al restaurant to be relaxed .The out come of this recipe non mi da voglia di mangiare . Bravi ragazzi Pasta Queen.
I'm Italian and I LOVE seeing Italians critique food preparation. Reminds me of my mom. She would sit there and shake her head. After the food was handed to her---she would throw the food (plate and all) in the trash. And walk away Mic drop😎

I mean she literally said that in the video but yeah
Yes! Along with making sure the ingredients are high quality.

wtf was that from Gordon?! that poor shrimp died twice
Less is more.😊
We need more of your reactions to Gordon Ramsay cooking video 😂😂😂😂
She's so right about the very thin pasta and huge shrimps. They don't go well together at all
😸 Tonight we’re having roasted Gordone 🤌
😂😂😂
😂
The pasta queen is purely Italian loved her cooking... Oh my god so gorgeous cook... Teach Ramsay...
I love seeing Italians react to Gordon Ramsey.. they’re always like 🙀🙀🙀🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼😂😂😂
I love how genuinely distressed you both are. Your pain was the highlight of my evening 😂
That wasnt genuine, seemed forced and overtly critical to me.
@@ARS-fn6px I think they weren't too critical. The dish doesn't look appetizing.
Exaaaaaactly!!!
I just found your videos yesterday, and I'm having SO much fun watching you and your fabulous style of cooking. Pretty lady and a great sense of humor.
The more I know about cooking, the more I understand it is also about respecting the culture where it comes from… Love from Spain 💕🌷

Then you wouldn’t have Asian cuisine, African cuisine, and the like. Italian cuisine is great, but the world is a much better place with variety.
OMG this is one of My favorite
😂😂😂😂
Our Queen facial expression áre killing me
Absolutely brilliant commentary!!!😂 Bravi ad avergli fatto le scarpe! Le evoluzioni si ma sempre il rispetto verso le linee guida tradizionali ❤ You should do more of this! You're amazing pasta queen, romana e verace come me. A Roma nun se gioca con la pasta!😉
Se Gordon avesse cucinato questo piatto di pasta in Italia, in qualsiasi ristorante, glielo avrebbero tirato appresso.
well said
dopo avergli fatto un giro di olio addosso.
I believe he's touring with an Italian chef ( the one who said if my grandma had wheels she'd be a bike ), maybe that guy corrects Gordon's horrendous view on Italian cuisine
Gino D’Campo.

I agree with everything you say!
Love this!! You tell them pasta queen. You can't screw with traditional Italian recipes. I'm all for authentic! Thanks for educating us!!!🍝🥃👍❤️
This hair for me!!! I’m all about these curls and your commentary! 🤍
I never understood why many people see him as a cooking god, when there are millions of chefs wayy better at every corner.
Aggressively agreeing
Yup!
Your reaction videos crack me up.❤
My oh my, how the tables have turned on Gordon! 😂
Her reaction to Gordon's use of parm is like the Mexican moms' reaction to Rachel Ray's use of sour cream on Pozole🤣
cream fresh noooo
Your reactions are priceless❤️
Someone should "paste a link' to Gordon🙂
It's about time somebody actually reviewed his so called cooking techniques !!!! Brava !!!
Forget Gordon, Pasta Queen - he’s NOT Italians but I am! PLEASE have ME come over for a week!😃👍
I became allergic to shrimp around 16/17 and still mourn scampi. But I think this recipe might be a cure for my nostalgia.
Mr. Ramsey is accustomed to being treated as if he walks on water. Give him hell TPQ!! ❤️😁
Love your reaction hehe especially when Gordon grated the Parmesano 😂😂
Please have Gordon there and teach him the right way!!
Only Italians Can Cook Pasta On The Right Way.The End.
I would love to see you and Ramsey in the kitchen cooking 😂😂😂😂
Her reaction to Ramsay reminds me of every Monday morning with my new boss. I just walk away saying “why?” repeatedly.
Too hilarious for words. Love these guys ❤️
The Pasta Queen ages like the finest of wines 😍

I have never seen this channel before for some insane reason. I subscribed in about 2 minutes ❤❤❤ love her!!!
Bravo Queen 👑
Pasta Queen you are reminding me of my own passion for cooking. Thank you ❤
Gordon is a legit Michelin Star guy, for sure. He’s best with beef, lamb, shepherds pie, chicken, etc., at least from what I can tell. He’s taught me a lot of these videos. For Italian, I’m going to TPQ from now on. 😂
LOOOOVED this video! I know that you don’t put cheese on fish pasta, but I don’t know why. Can you explain, please? 😊
I'm guessing it's simply they just dont go together. But maybe not
Made this one with the fish stock, turned out really well. I was surprised, favors worked together and wasn't overbearing.
Oooooo my gosh the two that I love right here, Ramsey and the Pasta Queen, how can this be, but I love it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 this was omg…. 😘
My mom said when she lived in the UK all the food was so incredibly oily.

Oh pasta queen...I shall never use olive oil in my pasta water again 😂😂😂
This was just gold, pure gold.
Grazie Voi due💗💗siete bravissimi🌸💮🌷Un Grande Abraccio
Gordon ALWAYS makes a mess of traditional recipes 😂
That's true... he is not as great as he's sold out

You two are charming . . . but even better, you know your stuff. Count me in!
I need to see a cook competition between the Pasta Queen and Gordon
Hilarious 😁 Yes please, show us how it‘s done. Love your style 👍😘

I can't find The Pasta Queen's video for Shrimp Scampi.
Would love to see you and Gordon together. Make it happen guys❤
I’d love to see a collab with Vincenzo’s Plate.
Horrifying! Love you Ago and Pasta Queen!
I gasped at the same time when he put olive oil into the boiling water for the pasta like no!!! That's some early 2000's misguided cooking 'trick' right there.
If you are shocked with that, you should have a look how he makes the spanish paella
I'm so glad you did this because I would always complain about how he makes certain dishes & limits the amount of parsley when that imparts amazing flavor 😂❤😂
You need to show him how it's done. I totally agree with you

“…sometimes you lose sight of the simple choice of life.”
Yes!!! Invite Gordon to have a Italian cooking party 😂😅 would be great!
Gordon needs to learn the basics. Totally agree.
Love your curly hair today!❤
You better call her Gordon, queens command👑 🤌🏼🇮🇹
As a german, i have to say, that iam shocked about this tragedy. Gordon you using enought oil, to bring us trought the winter !
Time ,time, time, saving time! meglio andare al restaurant to be relaxed .The out come of this recipe non mi da voglia di mangiare . Bravi ragazzi Pasta Queen.
She s so right!!! She knows the art of cooking
L'espressione "... e 'na fetta de culo no?!" qui calza perfettamente con quella vagonata di roba che lo scozzese ha voluto mettere.
This is an excellent video!
They are OVERCOOKED, but its okay😅🤣😂, always cracks me up!!!

NO CHEESE THOUGH
Cheese on shrimp? It probably tasted disgusting 🤢
Love her even more for her opinion on Ramsey
Talk about kitchen nightmares😵
Siete forti😄👏
Love your show.
Since I watch the Pasta Queen's videos I can understand their feelings 😂😂
Gordon Ramsey always talks like he's in a hurry and always seems to be out of breath.
"I didn't make Gordon Ramsey cry. Gordon made himself cry." - Chef Marco Pierre White
Dear queen and bro:
Well, its clear - you HAVE to invite Gordon,
so you can teach him
the REAL ITALIAN WAY of delicious cooking❤❤❤
Love you both ❤
Gordon needs to be taken into the shop 😂😂
The fact that you dont need to add oil to pasta/noodle water was something i learned with common sense as a kid.
I'm Italian and I LOVE seeing Italians critique food preparation. Reminds me of my mom. She would sit there and shake her head. After the food was handed to her---she would throw the food (plate and all) in the trash. And walk away Mic drop😎
🤣 HaHa "Dangerous and Disappointing" I'm dying!
I understand her feelings with the parmesan on top of the shrimp scampi because Rachel Ray made pozole with tomato paste!🥺😳🤯
Thank you you are so right
