in 2018, Xenoblade 2 was my first introduction to the Xenoblade series outside of Smash. It's been one of my favorite switch titles since. Drifting Soul is easily in my top 10 favorite songs ever, maybe top 5. So glad you got to play it, even if it wasn't your first time!
Same! I feel like quite a few people’s xenoblade experience started with Xenoblade 2 (it did for me) and since then Drifting Soul and Counterattack have become my favorite tracks from not just 2 but my favorite tracks from any video game period and that’s a high bar to hit!
@@atticuscorbitt8199 Glad more people got into XC. Loved the first one after buying simply because I liked the look of the Monado as a kid and now with the massive influx of people after Smash 4 and XC2, the franchise has really thrived
Technically X was my first but I hardly played it and honestly did not like it. I really was not going to get 2 but I happened to get it for my birthday and it ended up becoming a top 3 game of all time for me.
I got introduced to it by a friend but bought XC2 just out of hey its there on the shelf and i need a new game... ive been hooked ever since, XC2 is Awesome XC1 i still havent finished but i totally get it XC3 was amazing with so many amazing references and now with the dlc, this whole franchise is just so fking amazing.
@@Blahydra it‘s sad people believed it was a joke at first. But then again, I still see people that massively misunderstand Rex‘s character Rex is the type of person that cares about everyone, even Torna and Amalthus. Heck, the scene right after Nia‘s confession has him talk about how he likes to protect everyone he cares for
Man, Chuggaaconroy is such a good lets player. I first heard this song through his lets play of it, its interesting to hear it in such a different context lol
The song that perfectly summarizes 2‘s cast and their struggle with trying to move forward and always trying to look into the past When I first heard this Track at the end of Chapter 3, that was the moment I knew this Game was something special. Still one of my favorite scenes in the entire Xeno series Hearing the Instrumental version during the End of Torna also hits so hard Also my girl in the Thumbnail :)
"Hearing the Instrumental version during the End of Torna also hits so hard" Oh great...now I remember the ending of Torna.... come on..keep the manly tears in...
gosh this song, not so long ago when I heard this song I used to think mainly of spoilers Vandham's sacrifice and Torna's destruction but now thanks to future redeemed, I gotta admit that it gave me a new appreciation for "if it help put smiles on people faces, help them live their lives together, then that my role in this world" I now associate this song mostly with this scene
Drifting Soul is one of my favorite Xenoblade Chronicles songs and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is one of my favorite video games and I feel in love with the series. Thank you for playing this song.
Just gotten through chapter 3 a week ago... Hearing this during Vandham's death was certainly something.... So seeing this here was actually pretty cool.
Ngl, I like XC2 more then XC1. Not that I don't like XC1, it definitely had one of the most interesting developments in any rpg that I've seen-even now. XC2 just hits different, Idk what more to say xD
Nah, I agree. 2 has some massive flaws, sure, but the characters and Combat just resonate so much with me. 1 is still great though, I just don’t like 1‘s cast that much (aside from Dunban and Melia who I really love)
@@fredfazz67 Nah, it's fine. XC3>XC2>XCX>XC1 is probably my ranking of the games. Personally, I think XC3 is a third game done absolutely right. It had a great balance of nostalgia from previous games and a strong story in itself.
the only xenoblade game played is XC2, and when i heard their ost, i literally said, that all osts of this franchise is a freaking bop, and i was not wrong

I can't explain how much I love this song. It has been stuck into my head since I first played XC2 in 2020
Nia on an 8BitDrummer thumbnail. We've finally done it.
I wonder if he asked Chuggaa for who to put on the thumbnail to be most poignant, while not spoiling key scenes in the game.
Now we need him to play the battle remix of this song from Xenoblade 3 if he hasn't already
HWAT?

We laughed in XC2. We respect it in XC3.
I love you, and all you guys!

When this played in XC2 we cried.
When this played in XC3 we jammed.
Who laughed in 2?
True fans always respected 👌
Except chapter 7.
