Milford Hospice 10k Video log

3 weeks to go and I ran my last race pre Tokyo Marathon, the Milford hospice/Milford care center 10k and took the win.
Normally I do 16 at marathon pace but running a PB 10 miler the week before was enough stress on the body. Adding another big session around the 10k race would have put me in a hole. Previous to my 2:26 PB in Chicago I did 16@mp and 3x4 mile in week 3 and 2 pre race. This time I'm only going to do one session at 2.5 weeks out. The hope is it keeps me fresh and gets me to the start line, which is what's it's all about.
Sad news also this morning that Kelvin Kiptum has died tragically. We shall remember him with our feet and run to our limits! RIP.
