A year later, he opened up another bistro, and that one closed down after a year too. I'm sure he found some way to blame Gordon, or his customers, or someone else for that one.
gordon is right about the pescatarian. i am allergic to shellfish and can always tell if they cook shellfish with the chicken or beef. even if its in the same oil, i swell up. it happens more often than you would think.

It's such a lovely thing to see how the staff's and Starr's faces light up when Gordon brings in the restaurant changes and to see how happy they were for the change. They were literally glowing. It makes me sad that Chappy didn't allow that happiness to last however.

It is stupid and ignorant to reject help and I would say, you deserve to fail. The most humble people, who actually take good, sensible advice, are the only ones who have a fighting chance to survive. I loved the Momma Cherri episode. Both her and her Chef were intelligent and humble and it was such a pleasure to watch.

Ad a former back of house restaurant worker (prep cook and dishwasher), I am always appalled at the conditions in most of these episodes. I've been fortunate enough to work in clean kitchens where everything is labeled and stored properly.

Update! So I've looked up this place and it seems to have shut down permanently as of 2017. In fact the restaurant closed before the final episode even aired due to not being able to pay taxes so the place got shut down by state auhorities. They tried to open other locations including New Orleans and Gulfport Mississippi but both shut doors very quickly and he is blaming Kichen Nightmares for his troubles.

Ad a former back of house restaurant worker (prep cook and dishwasher), I am always appalled at the conditions in most of these episodes. I've been fortunate enough to work in clean kitchens where everything is labeled and stored properly.
Everyone commenting on her looks but in my opinion the amount of love respect and support she has for her husband makes him a very lucky man and her a beautiful person.

So I've looked up this place and it seems to have shut down permanently as of 2017. In fact the restaurant closed before the final episode even aired due to not being able to pay taxes so the place got shut down by state auhorities.
They tried to open other locations including New Orleans and Gulfport Mississippi but both shut doors very quickly and he is blaming Kichen Nightmares for his troubles.
