Had this game for over a year and finally played or with my kids. We watched this video first and then gave it a play. Thanks for this walkthrough tutorial, it helped us immensely. By far one of our top 5 games to play!
I am glad you enjoyed it! I am very glad I was able to learn with such a great guy - and I can’t wait to play again / check out football highlights as well!
Thanks for the teach and play-through! It’s on my b-day list so hoping to get it and play with my son (or solo looks great as well) Looks like a ton of fun, and love how quickly it plays yet has interesting decisions along the way
Very enjoyable video! I keep seeing these trophy pics showing up everywhere but really knew nothing about the game. I like the quick rules and relatively easy play. Looks like just enough strategy to make it a fun game. Will have to check this one out.
Yea - I was drawn to the game / Philip because of the photos - but I found out the game is actually really good! :) thanks for watching and commenting!
@@Quackalope I may even give this a try at WashingCon this weekend. My friend and I like this types of game so hopefully it's in the game library. Maybe we'll see you there.
Wonderful video, great production and just a fantastic intro to this game. I'm waiting for my copy to arrive and this hit the spot. Subscribed, looking forward to watching more videos!
I guess I can understand why some people might find baseball boring to watch (I don't) or just not their thing. But as the basis for a really great deckbuilder, it seems fantastic. There are so many stats per position/players (pitching staff, defensive players on the field, batters, pinch hitters) and how important matchups can be that could make a really interesting/deep game. Pitchers who are lefty, or righty, their earned run averages, the types of pitches they tend to throw throw vs. the batters (are they lefty or righty?) what pitches they generally hit well or not, batting averages, bat speed, runs batted in, slugging stats, walk rates, strike out percentage, run speed, base stealing rates etc. There are so much data that could be used to make a really great head to head card game, maybe with a dice or something to help decide can happen with each at bat, and maybe some occaisional random event cards or something. This game does look really cool to me but I could also see a really deep game just based on the MLB (past or present).
If you like Baseball and/or understand how a decent runner on second would score on a single, this game is easy to play and it really flows. Two baseball fans could play multiple games in a night. For Football fans out there, The Kickstarter for Football Highlights is shipping soon. So keep your eye out for that to hit retail.
The only board game channel with 4K video :p. Most of these cards would've probably been unreadable otherwise. Because the source was 4K, even 1080 UA-cam-compressed is sharp enough to read the cards.
great video as always :) I have to ask because I've been wondering since I first started watching your videos. What are all the little plain cardboard boxes on the shelf behind you?
"If you don't like baseball, you probably won't like this game". It's super quick, simple, and looks like a lot of fun. I'm not fond of baseball nor do I care about watching it, but I'm familiar with the sport. Liking this game, and it's lackluster art has nothing to do with liking baseball. I'd definitely be up for playing it if someone owned it.

I love this game, can't get enough of it.
It is such a cool game!
Love the broll and music. Super cool, that Phillip was able to join you for this game play. 🦆🦆🦆
Thanks :) - I had fun making the intro segment! I am glad he was able to swing by!
@@Quackalope Haha. "Swing by." Classic. 😂
This is my favorite two player card game. This is a card battler with a baseball theme.
It is such a solid little game!
great stuff! love this video and hearing y'all discuss as you play. this is my all-time favorite game and can't wait to get football highlights soon!

Yea - if you know the game I totally agree - it just kinda makes sense! I am
Excited to see how Football Highlights plays :)
MangoT140 and you need to understand how a fast runner can go first to third on a single. - THEN you are set! :)
Your videos are great. Keep it up ! :D
Thanks so much :)
Looking into getting everything from this game!

Just a pile of Kingdom Death and a community asking me to make more content on it XD

If you are neutral then you might like it :) - we were more saying if you hate baseball - it wont be for you!
