Beautiful vintage style watch!! Only problem is that I wear my watches on my right hand and unlees they make one with an opposite side dial it wouldn't work for me.
Little to no research and development, along with lower minimum wage in China and outsourcing components at scale. This is the magic formula for low production costs. It probably costs them $60 to build this thing at that scale.
Really like the number on this watch and the sub-dial for seconds. Not crazy about the corner to corner placement of the 12 and 6 numbers. Also doesn’t appear to have any lume. Checked their website out which has other normal dial placement and lume. Thanks for the feedback on the watch.
Thanks for the review Steve. Looks like they made the whole line of this, mecha/auto/quartz to please everyone so they "turn" their heads to it... 🤪 Like it, a lot, a possible buy for sure, but struggle to see this amongst (my) others dress watches, although it was a "sport" watch back in time.
When I look at my watches on my wrist, the optimum angle of the face is about 2.5 minutes after 12:00. The Baltany's 7.5 minute rotation is disorienting and gone too far.
Their straps are so good to a point that they really need quick-release springbars because it’s quite difficult to wiggle a springbar tool between the lugs and the strap 😂
Nice looking watch, BUT my OCD would not allow me to get one 😂😂😂 if it comes with a straight dial, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Best regards, stay safe🙏
I have been waiting for this, and it turned out nicer than I expected. Love the engraved numbers. Do you think an aftermarket strap should have curved spring bars to fit the case better?
I first had zero interest in this watch, but I’m really starting to like it. And that modern light blue strap juxtapose with a vintage watch really works. Thanks for the great review!
Great review 👍. The 1921 range is amazing, I like the way this version has engraved numerals and different hands to the automatics. I bought the Miyota 9039 centre seconds version last year and I love it. I do find I wear it inside the wrist so the dial lines up when I look at it, and I never wear other watches like that, it adds to the charm.
@@EscapeWheel I did, they blew me off. The delivery company agreed it was stolen by their driver. Said they would send me $100 soon ? I paid $245 with tax
@@EscapeWheel Proxima stepped up and paid to take care of the issue. Not their mistake but they took care of me. Proxima is the best company I've ever done business with.

❤ how do they make money at that price point. Crazy for sub 200.

Add to that formula, that there is almost no after sales support or Authorized Dealer Network.

They only missed the one with the dial on the opposite side for right handed watch wearers...

Is it me or do they have a version of it with blued hands and producing indices, like the Baltic MR01?

There is a Longines that just came out with the engraved dial like this. Glad I have a alternative now !
I just sent you an email...to be sure it's me (there is number 84 in my email address) and my initials are A & V
