I really appreciate you being vulnerable, especially about the body measurements topic. It is completely valid. I guess something you could try instead is providing a sort of ratio of foundation HDC to foundation chains? This is probably specific to this pattern only but I'll probably try working out the ratio for my body measurements and the yarn that I am using but a ratio would be a good guide. Appreciate your content and hard work!!
I feel like I could explain the math/ calculations behind some of the measurements, but then I feel like I would lose everyone's attention doing that haha! I'll keep thinking about the best way to describe the ratio of stitches though, thanks for the suggestion!
I love the amount of effort and creativity that went into this SO I SUBBED💗🔥🔥🔥 I LOVE IT🥰🥰 and thank you SO MUCH for not putting this as a paid pattern, I’m always really grateful to creators who give away their patterns for free, it’s really sweet~💌💌💌
Hello (sorry for my poor english) . I know that it’s been months but I just started doing this like last week. I’m not a beginner in crocheting I started 2018. Just wanna share some of my experiences : 1. I used mohair on mine, and if you are a beginner or someone without patience mohair is a straight-up nightmare to use especially in a project that frogging parts of it is possible. I failed twice and almost given up. 2. I agree with the tension I used almost the same foundation chain as on the video but mine were to small. So I need to change it up a bit. I used mohair with a 5.5 mm hook since I wanted it be be see through with more of a loose tension 3. I have a hard time with the bow because I want mine to open in the middle if I put on or take off the top. since the base is stretchy. I made the split in the. Middle of the bow and not at the back (if that makes sense) and used some hooks to use as closures. And in term of what can you do so that you can still give a slight idea about the measurements without giving your personal measurement is that. Try a sample ‘square’ i’m not sure if that is the actual name to it. Like how many foundation chain for 5inches with tighter and looser tension so that we can somehow have an idea of how much foundation chain we need for our own measurements. For example the bow area. In 5 inches we need 10 foundation chain so I know that if I need to have 15 inches I will chain 30. Something like that. But that may be allot of work to you as the one doing the tutorial. Will reply to this when I finish mine.
Oooooh, this is *so* pretty (does it actually align w/ my personal style? Prob not), but loved your attention to detail & creativity in constructing this make!
I started this top yesterday, but i dont fully understand the part where you start working on the neck, by starting the foundation chain in the 12 row, wouldn't that make the 12 row part of the neck part?
if i dont want a mockneck but a sort of boatneck, straight across cut instead would i just follow the same pattern but without the increases in the bodice? thank u for the tutorial 💘
You mentioned the importance of trying it on as one goes, but I'm doing this for a friend and thus this wouldn't be super possible. What do you think would be the best approach to do this?
Hi i also want to make this for my sister and it's going to be a surprise so i can't measure as i go. Have you found a solution for that and if you have, can you please let me know?
I’m making this right now and I’m having issues sewing the bow to the top. It always comes out too tight. Can anyone who’s made this tell me how you did it?
When you attach the bow to the top do you sew it all around, on top and bottom of the row and in the back? I’m starting the bow now so hoping I can get a reply soon.
Hi! So I’m working on this and was wondering what to do if the shoulder to neck panel comes nowhere near fitting over your chest/front? if i make it thicker in the shoulder section for the front i fear it wont be a tanktop anymore, but if i make it thicker in the mockneck section i fear the neck will be really wide. do you have any idea what i could do about this?
Yea, I would try adding short rows in between the shoulder panels on the sides under your arm. That way, you're increasing the circumference of the top without messing with the tanktop / neck portions

So gorgeous, btw what did you use type of yarn?

Yes, exactly! You just wouldn't need the increases for the mockneck portion :)
is there an alternative for mohair yarn? btw thanks for the tuts❤❤
Beautiful
Can I crochet this with a 1.75 mm hook bc that's all i have and please tell me the measurements that go along with the hook i have! ❤❤❤❤❤
You mentioned the importance of trying it on as one goes, but I'm doing this for a friend and thus this wouldn't be super possible. What do you think would be the best approach to do this?
Hi
i also want to make this for my sister and it's going to be a surprise so i can't measure as i go. Have you found a solution for that and if you have, can you please let me know?
I love this! How do you feel about creating a lovely top with a V neck - can this be done?
I've actually been wanting to create a V neck sweater, keep an eye out!
خیلی خوب آموزش میدی ❤❤❤❤
Hi I absolutely love the pattern but will it work the same with standard acrylic yarn?
You probably won't get the same sheer effect because that's from using mohair, but you should be able to recreate it just fine otherwise!
Idk if you mentioned it and I missed it or not but what brand of mohair yarn did you use ?
How much grams of mohair did you use for this top? 😄
It should be 60g, she has the materials at 1:08 😊
I’m making this right now and I’m having issues sewing the bow to the top. It always comes out too tight. Can anyone who’s made this tell me how you did it?
When you attach the bow to the top do you sew it all around, on top and bottom of the row and in the back? I’m starting the bow now so hoping I can get a reply soon.
Yes I sewed mine on top and bottom all around
That is absolutely gorgeous! 😍😍😍🔥Would I get a written pattern with some more sizing if I subscribe your Patreon?
unfortunately not
Written patterns will be available on my Patreon starting tmrw, but sizing will still be made to measure like in the video tutorials
