It's March 2021 and I just discovered this band a week ago. I am completely in love with them. I've heard every single song of theirs available on Spotify and now I'm watching their videos on UA-cam. They have this air of hope around them. They make me feel hopeful and understood. Their music is just so heartwarming. I'm very glad I found them.

She talks about anxiety and stuff...but in every video she seems so confident, like oozes confidence as the camera follows her, you wanna be her
You'd be amazed at what playing music on stage will do for someone's confidence.
Lots of great singers and actors have major anxiety issues. They can deal with it when they’re on stage or on camera, so you’d never suspect, but watch them just trying to have a conversation with someone they don’t know, and they’re suddenly the world’s biggest introvert.
@@rockoperajon I used to deal with very bad social anxiety, but for some reason I never had trouble performing on-stage. Same thing when it comes to dancing, moshing or stage diving at other bands' concerts. Music just removes my inhibitions I guess.
As Pete Townshend once wrote, the greatest motivator of the artist in me is my insecurities. He wrote that on that 1993 album Psychoderelict. A brilliant but flawed album the draws upon his experiences as an artist and from his many projects that failed to bring to light, like lifehouse.

I'm very old but when I was a kid I used to fantasize about being in a band where everyone was super talented and we all liked/loved each other and the lead singer was gorgeous, had style, a bit of wicked attitude and miles of talent. This video makes me feel that way. I want to be in this band. Just the way she comes toward the stage... so excited to be with her guys and ready to really put on a show!

I remember 4 years back seeing them in concert at some place in NYC. I remember starting a mosh pit, and the girl in front of me was upset because I hurt her foot accidentally, but that wouldn't have happened if she were wearing shoes and not flip flops.

I know what a moshpit is. But mosh to this? This music puts me in chill mode, I couldn't imagine moshing.

i really wish there were a higher quality version of this video. 360p in 2023 is not ok. Does a digital copy exist anywhere? the version on apple music isn't much better. there's a couple others that were capped from tv that look a little better but have other issues. Hey Emily, can you help?
