I really like how you actually go to these places and dont just put up stock photos. I used to go to the Penitentiary years ago and had weird things happen every time. Same with the Idanha since my aunt lived there in the 70s before the remodel and the ghosts were more active. One of them scared the crap out of me as a kid when I had to stay overnight there with my grandma. He woke me up staring at me through the wall. I couldnt see him, but I felt his presence. That was enough for me to leave my bed closest to the door and sleep in my grandma's bed. I heard from a former employee that the front lobby used to get ice cold year round, the phones would ring all over the place and one woman was even pulled out of bed by her feet. Just two other things that happened to me were the time one of my art pieces got flipped right in front of me and this other guy, and I saw black and almost fainted getting off the elevator more than once. Once the elevator wouldnt come up and we had to use the stairs. I was looking at rooms with a real estate agent and even she got scared and ran down.

Thanks! Yes I don't love watching videos of stock photos either!
That is terrifying though! I have never stayed overnight at the Idanha but I have heard so many things from friends. Those stories are so crazy. How long has it been since you were there?

Hmm interesting - I never noticed that before. I would guess a trick of the camera or light. I might go back down and see if I can try to film that bin again to see if it happens again. Thanks for seeing that - how interesting!

Yeah haunted with boredom, nothing to do outside of going to Walmart, and the smell of manure.

Sigh.. I've been to the id state pen many times. Disappointing as it may be to some, i cannot lie - there are no ghosts there, this house is clean.

There are a lot of people who keep trying to find ghosts there, and I am pretty convinced after visiting.
The funny thing is I am from Boise and I never visited the Old Pen until a few years ago. It really is a cool place to visit - whether there are ghosts or not.

Do not promote superstition and supernatural phenomenon. Ghosts and goblins and spirits do not exist and no place is haunted.

It’s an interesting subject, but I completely agree with you. I been in the most so called “haunted house in the u.s” and many different “haunted locations” I didn’t feel, or see anything unusual on any of the occasions. I think I’m going to have to bump it up and head to superstition mountain one of these days and go camping there, or Gettysburg
