This is a great video! Thanks for sharing! I just ordered the alpenglow 500 today and I am so excited. You covered many of the questions I had which is awesome.
Hey Ben, I’m just south of clarkston a bit and lost my power for a day when that storm hit. I picked up a different solar powered lantern but will check this one out. Thanks neighbor.
I really liked their biolite sunlight. This seems like it would be great for power outages or partys bit too heavy for hiking though. Do like the power bank option tho
200h of light??? What ?? Even in their webpage they said 4h on high and 48h on low I don’t know if they are paying him or what but I have no Idea how he got 200h
$100.00!....? you can't be serious! you must have said it is 'really cool' about 20 time; it's really expensive isn't even mentioned. Just what I need in a survival light; a lantern that does light shows and does fireworks!...real serious survival gear.
Survival means many things. It doesn't have to be something that can't also be fun for everyday use. $100 for something with so many features is actually quite reasonable. Shop around a bit and you'll see it is priced quite reasonably. Whether it is right for you is up to you, but maybe try not to be so snarky toward someone who is just reviewing an item. He doesn't set the prices, nor does he have anything to do with the company. Just chill.

In the 70s, there was the lava lamp. Now we have these.

The 250 model is less than 8 ounces! That's too heavy for hiking for you?
Very nice light , Thanks for sharing , God bless !
Very sweet lantern! I’ve been looking for a good lantern for power outages. Is the rechargeable battery replaceable?
No it’s built in but I mean.
80.00 😮 ouch. nice review 👍
Got candles?
Plenty.

On the website it does say up to 200h on low :) maybe they made a mistake with the info earlier.

Don’t buy it then.
