I have the 430 version of this Kline waiting in my basement to be installed in about 2 weeks after I redo the PPF on my car. I have the Fabspeed raceline X-Pipe on the car now which has no valves and is F1 like super high pitched and loud but my wife hates it, so happy wife happy life, I ordered the Kline and was super stoked to see your video as there really isn’t one for their valves exhaust in this detail on UA-cam. Now I’m counting the hours till it’s installed and I can finally drive the car at 6:00am without waking the neighborhood.
Not only can you drive it at 6:00am but you can take your wife out on the town and come home at midnight and NOT be that a-hole neighbor waking up the neighborhood. I support Corey’s commentary!
@@studog05 I'd settle for her to just sit in the car while I'm driving. At about 129db, measured at about 6 feet away, my current Fabspeed is really for someone much younger than me which is why my kids love it. It will suck adding weight back on the car since the Fabspeed is like 17 lbs vs the Kline which is closer to the OEM exhaust weight. I went with the Kline because the Fabspeed Raceline X-Pipe spoiled me at high RPM with that F1 sound, so I couldn't put the stock exhaust back on. I did also get the Kline "button" so I can control the valves so when I'm at Cars N Coffee, I can open the valves manually.
Thanks Wayne and Rodney. Austins’ Collision and Custom Body Works is A#1. If you need your Sweet Ride fixed up stock, resto modded or better than OEM, I highly recommend them.
You gotta give Stu credit for keeping all of his original parts. If that was me, all of those pieces would have been gone and I would have to start looking around the web for them.
I love seeing Stu. It reminds of when I was a kid watching What's Happening when Rerun would dance. Everyone was like, hey Rerun is dancing, come watch! Stu is on Normal Guy Supercar, and he is dancing, you gotta come watch!
so when i get my 360 this year, I will put on the following: "a full aftermarket exhaust, Fabspeed Headers, Capristo Test pipes, and Capristo Exhaust." Thank you for let me know of the "original" parts...being a petrolhead that noise is not armageddon, it is HEAVEN!
Great vid! Can’t wait to see Stu Dog’s car all finished up! My 360 with no pre-cats, oem cats, and TopSpeed titanium was 129.6. 🤫 Haven’t checked again with the challenge stradale setup yet.
@Terrance Findley excellent question. Capristo 3 and Capristo Twin sound (the one I'm selling) do not have x-pipe crossing the left and right exhaust banks together. If you have straight pipes (no cats) your exhaust will not be high pitched. You will have a lower baritone sound at lower RPMs and it will just be brutally loud at high RPMs. You need a dampener i.e. OEM cats or preferred Sport cats. This is the only way you will be able to achieve the best sounding exhaust with Capristo products. I learned this lesson and decided to change over to Kline at the delight of my Ferrari Superfriends.
@Terrance Findley quality ok...But the volume is just way too much in the lower half of the rpm range. The low RPMs had just way too much bass and obnoxious, but over 5000 RPM it sounded wonderful. It was fatiguing to drive the car, the cold starts were brutal. Sold it.
Love your 360 Stu !!! Nicest engine bay of any 360 ive seen. Klein growles more than capristo....sounds great..... interesting that Klein is a Romanian company, im half Romanian..... "The More You Know"..... great episode Dan !!!
Second this, if you ever plan on removing it down the road. Also a great idea around bell housing when doing the 599. Aluminum on Aluminum can corrode together badly over time. I’ve broken transmission cases because of it on daily drivers up here in the salty north.
I was thinking “FERRARI MONKEYS” as you were calling yourselves monkeys! 🙉🙈🙊. Kline all the way. Sounds much better than the Caprista in the video. Can’t wait for the drive by!

@@studog05 Nice, I am looking forward to the flyby videos! The inconel one sounds pretty amazing: ua-cam.com/video/7vBff1Cu5D4/v-deo.html although there is no mention about the headers and cats configuration in that video.
Personally most aftermarket for the 360 and 430 are garbage. That hot silencer right next to Airboxes! The only exhaust for my F430 was the factory homologated system by Tubi as it takes the silencer bulk down and away from the Airboxes.
Hi Dan, love your channel and watch it often. You seem to be the expert on exhaust and S-line in particular. I’m struggling with the following: I have a stock setup on my F430 but with remote switch on the valves. I understand with the valves open the car is essentially not muffled. So would there be any benefit of having the s line in comparison to stock set up with valves open? Hope you’ll answer me as I can’t figureert out on FerrariChat. Thanks! Rogier
Yes the S-Line has an x-pipe which changes the pitch from a baritone to more F1 high pitch. It really alters the personality of the car and feels more like a Ferrari to me.
@@normalguysupercar Thank you very much! Very clear. Two more questions : in your opinion, if I replace the original headers with tubistyle headers, retain the original cats and add an s line : would that be too much? Would you recommend waiting for the valves s line that you announced in an earlier video? Kind regards, Rogier

Yes, we guesstimate Capristo being in the 133-135 db range of ear bleedingly loud. Pulling back the reins a bit and creating a little back pressure with the x-pipe will increase hp and gain higher pitch glorious F1 notes. Kind of a ribbed for your ear pleasure sort of thing. Heh.
