What a great comparison! I do agree the shots on the iPhone 13 are oversharpened though not too much compared to Samsung. It doesnt make ANY sense to compare Sony phones like you do with other phones. Sonys philosophy, especially for the Pro phones, is to give the best hardware they can and let the user do the rest. They dont focus on Software, they focus on hardware. Thats why there are special apps which allow you to handle the hardware however you like. All other companies do the opposite, they focus on the Software which accompanies the „lower hardware“. Thats why these comparison dont make any sense for Sony Pro phones. You have to adapt your reviews for that. While all other companies use the word „Pro“ as a gimmick, Sony actually aims their Pro phones to professionals. These are not phones for everyone. These are mainly for photographers or journalists, in short, for creators. You cant compare the Sony phones like you do with all others.
Seems a bit opinionated but these pictures are nice. iPhone for me. The “digital sharpness” still produced an overall better image. Sony portraits were yellow compared to Apple natural skin tones. Yeah iPhone. blurred the ear but Sony blurred the entire face and you still picked Sony. Overall I enjoyed the shots more than the commentary. 🙂
It doesn't matter because at the end, both Phones have Sony Sensors(which is the most important thing on a camera), Apple just decides to make more noob friendly pictures
@@alexandrostype-2211 if I’m paying $1,000+ US Dollars for a phone it does matter. I want consistency over all of the main features, in this case camera features. They have the same sensors but apple makes it more easier to use with iOS. The camera includes video and many people forget that if you add the iPhone video with any test, the iPhone has the overall better camera system. More consistent, reliable, and durable with its longevity. Apple does ALOT with on 12 megapixels and people forget that as well.
BTW the front facing camera is not even a comparison. Like I said. OVERALL I would rather pay that expensive price for the iPhone. Pro Res video is a different conversation.

I’d pick iPhone
Sony is more on the camera side, I feel like it needs a tripod in a lot of cases especially at night because of shutter speed
Everything you mention is true! But it's all up to the user and a matter of taste!
Totally agree Rickard! Thanks, stay tuned)
Which is top performers
User iPhone can't cry after look this video.. 😄
No one want a pro phone people
Want practical put out and snap not fuck about and lose moment of pro
I’ve been following your work since the release of iPhone 12 last year. Great job 👏
Thanks bro! I appreciate it! Warmest hugs from Russia!
Opinionated towards which side?😅
@@NOlimitsON you definitely enjoy the Sony more than apple lol.
Pro Res video is a different conversation.
sony xperia makes better macro photos with the photopro app and then the 24mm lense. at least with my xperia 5ii
sony is making these phones to take pictures with manual setting not for auto mode pictures. Sony is for professional photographer so if someone is interested in learning dslr photography then sony can do that by xperia but no phone camera is any closer to sony s dslr phone photography
Iam sure you can get much better nigth shoots with the photo pro app on the Xperia 1 iii which i have . But it was a fair review not bad at all .
Could you compare iphone13 pro vs sony zv1?
I have an in-depth comparison of iPhone 12 Pro Max with Sony ZV-1, you can check it on the channel
I think Sony has a better camera because it's natural and cool result while iPhone was very light..It's only my opinion.
😂😂😂
The auto processing on the iPhone makes photos too sharp and ugly, a lot of people are complaining and Apple really needs remove this. I personally shoot raw on my 11 pro and the results are much better. Only when shooting raw do you see the full capabilities of the iPhone’s camera (or any phone for that matter).
Apple pro RAW is not a real raw) I have a full video about it) and it still contains extra sharpening, denoise and so on
@@NOlimitsON That’s correct, but I’m not talking about Apple Pro RAW. The 11 pro does not have pro raw. I’m talking about raw with third party apps such as Lightroom and Halide.
Was sony in Auto mode?
Most of the time yes, same as the iPhone
@@NOlimitsON is xperia worth the money. How was your experience overall?
@@NOlimitsON what do you mean most of the time ? Aren't you suppose to have a fair comparison ? If you whent pro mode with sony then you should have done the same with Apple
