Hi Craig, totally totally agree with you , it’s a good grounding for young people to join up at 16 , too many snowflakes now a days !!! I joined at 16 in the junior leaders , I would recommend it to anyone, when I can home on leave you could tell the difference between me & my mates ( they just worked & went to the pub ) I got so many brilliant opportunities at such an early age , brilliant times , great video as always mate cheers 👍👍💪🏻💪🏻

I joined at 16 back when it was still the old junior leader regiments. I finished school and had 2 weeks off and started my basic training. 12 months training before passing out.
i did 2 years as a apprentice at 16, read my comment above, i am now 56 and run my own company, which has been destroyed due to the current situation, i was a travel agent. now i am a very poor old man, struggling to feed myself, but i need advice how to claim my armed forces pension early, cause now you can claim your pension at 55 at a reduced rate, you can also go in the armed forces up to 55 years old now.
I want to join the army when I turn 16 I am currently 13 and working on fitness as I am definitely not fit enough my parents have always said they would not sign for me to join anyone have anything I can say to change there mind.
Totally agree with the video. I've been in for 3 years and my mates are still dossing around looking lost. A lot of people see the army as a last resort but its really not it can make you into a man and teach you values and discipline. Bring back some sort of national service I say..
think it's a tough call, many pros and cons BUT the workforce welcomes the military mind set as it's a focused productive mind set for success. looking forward to the new videos ;)

There's pros and cons, but if you join at 16 you've not lived in the real world so when you come out it can be a big shock
How fit do you have to be to begin with? Obviously, you can't be obese but.....
Check out the British Army website it gives you the physical assessment result needed for each trade.
