I absolutely love your watercolor style, your soothing voice and your overall Zen. Thank you so much for your kindness and service to our watercolor community. If I may offer a suggestion, (if I should even dare) I struggle watching you scrub your brushes… maybe using a spray bottle to prime the colors before swatching them would extend the life of your brushes. I went back and double checked - the rose red was the color that was swatched twice. The quinacridone pink is in the lavender spot, but it's so similar to the rose red, it's hard to tell the difference! I enjoy these swatching sessions so much - you have such a lovely, soothing style and presence. Thanks so much!

could you do a video comparison the 36 and the 52 colors? i didn't find a conparison videos between the two sets.
Can I suggest you a vieo about your art space and colection or how you storage your art materials?
Do you have a tip to yellow mold in watercolor paper?
I always curious about how the sun light is diferent and eefect the colors in videos and photos, like I live in Brasil in my state the sun light is warmer your light is more cold.

I did NOT need this set but I bought it lol. I have the White Nights pastels set which is similar but a little higher quality, the Kuretake Gansai Tambi pastels and the Holbein pastels… but I cannot resist them! Plus I went in vacation lately and didn’t have a set to bring as I couldn’t bear the thought of possibly losing my plein air palette in my checked luggage. Plus for the price it’s a great travel/sketchbook set. My 4 year old daughter is starting to get into art and watching me do art and joining me sometimes and I thought this set would eventually make a great set for her when she’s ready to graduate from crayola lol. She would love the colors and the tin too! I like their opacity it’s great for character work and manga style that I like to do in my sketchbooks. The semi moist poured pans are just so much better than the chalky extruded cheap palettes. Even through all my professional paints I still am a sucker for a pretty palette that I can feel free and have fun with. Thank you for searching and influencing me!

You are so kind Louise, thank you! 🥰 I think as a beginner's set, this collection of colours would be fine. Quite a few colors in the set, include white pigment in them, which kind of makes them much more opaque and they handle more like gouache. To be fair, I haven't painted using them - I have just done swatches, so my experience with them is limited. xoxo

Hi Monique! I am not sure about their lightfastness rating, but some of the pigment numbers I do recognize, like the pthalos for example, do have good lightfastness usually :)
