excellent - 2 minutes in and I feel like I need to wrap up in my soft blanket, grab a hot drink and just sit on the couch while cozy up listening to this mystery, perfect bedtime comfort listen. Thank you for sharing .
I was wanting to listen to a good story that had a snowy theme to it, your channel popped up out the blue. I'm snug in bed at 19:30 on a cold evening with my two cats for company. Thank you. 11/11/24 UK💃😺😺
This reminds me of listening to the radio early on Sundays mornings listening to the children's radio and when a cup of tea solved all the world's problems. Delightful, thank you so much.
This makes me wish for simple times, a radio no tv and no modern tech. I think my parents grew up at the best time. Life now isn't as good imo. Thanks for the upload, really enjoyed this ✌
@@bereal6590 Agreed. I've had to really focus and put effort into bringing simplicity into my life. It's difficult in this day and age to do that. I've realized I get overestimated easily. Understanding this about myself and making conscious changes has helped. God Bless you for sharing your comment.
@@bereal6590 Steam is part of simple times but if your kitchen is full of it you may be forgetting your lid? One pot of water on the stove, a steaming basket holding your veg goes in the pot, and you put on a lid...No steam...
While I was listening it made me think back when I was staying in a bunkhouse in glencoe Scotland thair was no electricity just a bunch of strangers mostly mountain climbers they started telling stories about the grey man and ghost stories about the glencoe massacre i stayed the weekend
New to channel and oh!, what a thrill! I grew up listening to radio plays as a child, under the covers, and with a flashlight, of course). Listening to your narration just makes me feel good all over! Thanks so very much.

@@luciaprandlova too bad, it's a wonderful story. She thinks there is a murderer in her home. She thinks her dad is dying, and they are stuck. I would be upset too. She stops being "hysterical" after a bit.
Well I am not as impressed as others appear to be about this play as all the actors sound t unnatural and forced . Cannot hear any sound effects to enhance the performance thus heightening the fact that the cast are gathered around the microphone in the BBC studio. Having got half way through I will stick it out to the end but honestly this is poor quality radio drama
There she is 🐈⬛

The picture is quite amazing when you pull it out. Great detail. I couldn’t see the moggy!

@@TinnyDee definitely 👍✌️
We got rid of the microwave and TV. Kept the laptops and computers. No regrets.
@@fairwfriend Ah, I must admit I do like the microwave. It steams veg in 6 minutes otherwise it's pots galore and a kitchen full of steam. ✌️

One of the Radio plays that I have listened to many times. Wonderful play.
Great story, got lost completely in it. Could picture every scene in my head ❤
@@ShakenSoul that's the thing about audio dramas. You can use your imagination.
What a treat! A story with a beginning, a middle and an end. So worth listening to. Thank you.
Listening to this during a huge storm in ireland.not a snow storm, but high winds and rain.leaf drifts instead of snow😊
Truly enjoyed listening to this! It reminded me of The Mouse Trap by Agatha Christie.
What a great old fashioned drama.
One of the best radio plays of all time❤
And to think it just came up randomly. Glad it did and glad i read yer comment so that i stayed🎉
@@dreamsinmidnight all BBC plays were this good. That was before the corporation was taken over by accountants and ignoramuses.

Nice story
what year is this from ? That is a very young Mary Wimbush, long before she played Julia Pargetter in the Archers, and that must be 20 years ago now.

I think they're speaking in the Welsh accent
A bit.

Wasn't she complaining about being scarred now she wants him to stay. I hate her lol
Weird long pauses.
Not the best of plays.
In fact it was sentimental drivel.
But thanks for posting it

I heard it through - for the sake of the story. The story itself, 3 out of 5. The dreadful female is insufferable through out, just a headache 😒
