Absolutely love watching you as you remind me of myself when i was a young buck like you. Keep on doing what you do so well. God bless and talk to yoy latter.
Hello David, Some of the most peaceful times can be working in the woods alone, just have to be extra careful, That saws is sure eating the the wood, Take Care my friend 🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
I always take time to watch your videos. Even though I am super busy cutting, splitting and hauling firewood to my customers this time of the year.....Gary in Michigan (Woody’s Sawmill & Firewood Sales).
I cut mostly dry standing lodge pole cuz that's what have but we also have some good sized doug fir. I've found that even dead standing fir is never dry enough to burn. If I get it early enough in the spring and get it split and put in the wood shed I can burn it in the fall but I usually let it dry a year. I've been getting fire killed lodgepole that's about 6 years old now and the bark is mostly gone. I think it's the best wood I've ever used, better than red fir. Something about getting killed by fire, the wood now is super dry but still heavy and real solid and burns very hot. Have you noticed this about fire killed wood? Just curious.
David i love your videos man.... they're so much fun....just wish i could come help you i would have so much fun doing that we could kick serious tail to
You absolutely correct about family and true friends, hell I'd do very bad things too You for messing with my cats, so imagine what would happen if you messed with my wife or kids, you always stay safe out in the woods cutting, ps you get that first aid kit set up 😊
Another good one David! Sorry I have been behind on the viewing, too many things going on in my own life. Excited as the temps start to drop to start burning. You and the family stay healthy!
All the firewood trees I cut are already dead and when I’m cutting timber on our tribal ground we leave seed trees just for that reason and our tribe has our own forestry team who does all the planning…. Don’t go off half cocked buddy it makes you look stupid

You handled the nasty comments situation perfectly. People can be so weird!!! :)
That tree made you work for it. It wasn't the easiest splitting tree i have seen you do.
Cheers! I have a question: in your view are Huskys better and Stihls? Or for you it's just a matter of preference?
I love both equally
Love seeing that big ole load of Doug Fir. Great day in the woods. 🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
That’s some nice looking wood
The echo from the trees of the Axe splitting firewood is so soothing stay safe!

Generally stringy hardwood from where I’m from is excellent firewood 🪵

David, what’s the “length” of the firewood that you’re trying to achieve? From someone on the outside looking in it appears to be “about” 20”.
👍👍
Thanks bill
How is the shoulder/ arm? I haven't been around for awhile. Hope it's doing good.
Great video and can’t wait to see y’all next month
Yes for sure!
cutting trees without replacing them is the dickest move you could ever do as a young logger!
Not knowing wtf your talking about as a UA-cam expert is the most idiotic thing you could do!
