You have to appreciate the bus driver's skill. He knows when he'll come up on the sharp turns, the appropriate speed to turn, and the positioning of the bus so he can turn cleanly.
If he were to turn too early the side of the bus would hit the inner walls of the road.

The way he handles and operates the bus, this driver must've practice soo many times. Look how close he is to the rails and walls.
You have to be high skilled/expert to even drive a bus like this guy. Knowing the weight, the handling, gripping of the tires. The heaviest front load when going down hill. Especially added weight like passengers or items/cargo in the cargo doors on the side

They usually take [at least] 6mo apprenticeship driving down the route without passenger while an inspector is wathcing before being allowed to take passenger.
Also, local Japanese buses are rather small. I am not saying that the driver isn't adept--he is very skillful, but that comes with proper training and daily practice (like 3-4 times a day).

Im a bus driver and all who say "this is easy" or "this is normal" are totally wrong. Doing those sharp turns with that speed is not easy at all. You need to focus on steerin, looking both mirrors at the same time and also keep your eye in the guardrail in front of you... You also cant get too close to the walls before you turn because otherwise you will hit the back end of the bus to the walls. So its very hard multitasking.

When I was a kid I used to ride on then from manila to infanta quezon here in PH.
Skilled of the driver is really good.
It feels like roller coaster at that time down hill with twisty road I think we go around 60 to 80kph.

Bus drivers in the Philippines specially the ones that go to the provinces usually go through mountain roads quickly even if the roads arr poorly maintained. but still accidents happen.

I used to go school like this.. 😂 we used to live in a township, and the township bus took all of us to the school.. and although the regular path was not like this, but whenever there was traffic jam (which meant that we would be reaching school about 2 hours late if we took the normal path), the other path was taken which had exactly these turnings.. we used to enjoy a lot.. all the friends together in a bus, going/returning from school on roads like these....

Now this makes sense, I was thinking how the bus in the other vid did not fell off the cliff going at that speed cause the vehicle would obviously slide. No matter the skills physics are physics.

Take note of wide entries to turns then moving inwards and snapping the steering wheel to the tightest point it needs to be at at the apex, then exiting wide. This is the smoothest and quickest way to navigate motorvehicles around corners, race car driver or normal it's the same and good practice
