Why do I use Apple Motion instead of After Effects? Today, I'm sharing 5 very valid reasons why I'm an Apple Motion user. Find out what Apple Motion is for, how much Apple Motion costs, see some examples created in Apple Motion and why you should consider it too!

I use Apple Motion because your tutorials make it easy for me! 😎
I like Motion more than After Effects for one big reason: if you do any changes to your settings in the project timeline, Motion is realtime and don't have to render and wait like in AfterEffects. Also behaviours are very fast way to work.

What stinks though is 90% of jobs require Premier and AE. It just baffles me why so many still use Adobe products.
thats because is a way better program motion is just a gloried text creator, real work is done on AF.
First of all, congratulations for the tutorials! Even though I'm an old user, I learn a lot from you. I like Apple Motion because it has an intuitive interface, the opposite of After Effects. It's quick to work with and serves me very well in the production of corporate videos. My wife and I also use Motion even in interior design. Now I bought a Mac with the M1 and the duo Final Cut and Motion got even better. Thank you! Mario, from Brazil.
I moved to the walled garden of apple one and a half years ago, fcp and motion are rock solid and super fast on the mac m1 mini, a paradigm shift compared to pc based video editing.
I have used AE since 2005, and just now switching over to Motion because I am tired of paying the subsciption, and I don't even own it for that price! I love AE, but if i ever need to use it for a project, I can just pay the monthly fee for as long as I need it and then just cancel. Best of both worlds!
I LOVE using Apple motion because After Effects always fills my hard drive with TONS of Cache Files, unlike Motion which, just generates what you need, when you need it and you can clear those files without digging thru the preferences menu.

Just love your work! The way you explain things can you please make a dedicated segment for all the behaviors in apple motion just the way Jake in Motion did with Effects of After Effects. It would be really helpful to understand behaviors how they work and how to use them to make some great stuff !!!
I love Apple Motion because of the various options to create moves, lights, shadows and more. For a starter not really easy to use but if you understand how it works... I now love it... Best wishes Peter

Apple Motion costs? It was on my MacBook when I got it, just discovered it, after having it since 2019 😬 but now I'm intrigued, I use After Effects and Premier Pro, but I'm going to dive in and learn Motion too, it looks so cool.

I still find it difficult with Motion. I still have questions for things. I understand some of the concepts but I know it can very powerful.
I find that it runs very heavy. Is it meant to be mainly used for very short low res projects?

i have a questions is Apple motion equivalent to After Effects? Im a beginner, So im not doing any major projects. Just wanna do cool VFX stuff i already have motion and FCPX.
Yes, it’s the Apple equivalent. If you want to do true 3D or very intricate visual effects AE is better, but for most projects Motion does the job.
On what alternate Universe I’m in what’s this software and and there are people using it too ?

@@JennJagerPro I agree. It was one of those purchases I made years ago and I tried, believe me tried and just couldn't work it out. This youtube ID I am using is my play stuff around channel. I actually own a production house where we outsource to artists to do it all for us, but I would like to learn motion since I own it.
