Bought an AR9 upper and lower from Karri's Guns and a heavier buffer plug. Due to not following Mean Arms exact break-in procedure, I damaged one of them and Mean Arms graciously exchanged it for a new one. Later, after purchasing another EndoMag, the AR9 gunmaker damaged my endomag and Mean Arms even replaced that one at no charge! I cant say enough about following their precise break-in procedure and their excellent customer service. Needless to say the mags run flawlessly with proper install.
My whole setup is Karri's Gun and came with the endomag, no matter how much tinkering it failed in every way, said screw it and spent for a glock lower. Glad you at least got to try it
I bought some endomags and ran them with a PSA upper and the PSA Gen4 9MM BCG; followed the break in advice here and on the instructions in the box; everything worked perfectly. Next I picked up a AIM 9MM AR BCG - TIN from Aim Surplus for another 9mm build; followed the break in and everything worked WHILE the magazine was empty. I thought I would come to mention that you may need to cycle the bolt some with a few rounds in the magazine in order to break in the endo mag to the bolt. Once I loaded a few rounds ( 2 - 4 at first ) and slowly performed a sequence like the empty break in I was able to get the bold to cycle fully. I could then load more rounds (10+) and quickly cycle the bolt to achieve the expected function.
To provide additional context; before I performed the loaded break in I was not able to get the weapon to feed at all, the bolt would always get caught on the endo mag.

Finally got some good weather to function check two of these Endomags. My lower (and upper) receivers are from Palmetto State Armory. I ran approx 100 rounds through both mags without any issues. That included 115gr and 124 gr 9mm in fmj and Hornady XTP variety. Very happy. Fixing to order several more.
I am using a Faxon BCG, AR Stoner heavy buffer along with a 308 carbine spring. I have fired well over 500 rounds and have zero feed/eject issues and the LRBHO works perfectly as well. I have even modded a 20 round PMAG to work and I am getting the same great results,
I'm running mine with a PSA Gen 4 8" upper. I was having some feeding issues due to the steep angle of the barrel's feed ramp. After a little work with a file I was able to get it running 100% with a bunch of different ammo. I'm super happy with this option rather than buying 9mm Glock or Colt mags. Also, no issues with pressure on the bottom of the mag here.
Robert... How much material did you file off? I'm totally having issues with inconsistency of rounds feeding. It seems to be the same issue you experienced with the feed range steepness.
@@mintac3672 very minimal. I've got a fine round file for my dremil and I would file till I get some fine dust, then manually cycle the rounds through the action until I'd get a jam, then repeat the process till no jams. Good video, but luckily my BCG (from KVP) does not interfere with the Endomag in the slightest. It did contact one side of the inside of the Pmag, but now clears it after a few rounds. I found if you're having some issues with the bolt dragging, double check your bolt's roll pin. I just got a new Faxon bolt, and the roll pin was not quite fully sunk in the bottom bolt channel. A punch and quick tap solved the issue.
I currently have two endomags that I preload prior to my range trips and they are very easy to load. This coming from an old dude with arthritis in both hands!
No expert here, just my opinion: Im hoping that since this is a relatively new product(I think), its MEAN’s attempt to field test their work/idea and improve future designs. The concept of this device is just awesome, but its flawed. Bottom line is, the ejector, follower etc. needs to be metal. When that happens this thing will be money. I realize the soft plastic probably makes it more adaptable to multiple configurations, but until its metal, its always just going to be a throw away toy that sits in the range bag. Really great concept and the videos are helpful. Looking forward to future models that have metal components and that can work with GI mags and others.

Have you guys even tested your own products for long term reliability? Your Ejectors are molded out of plastic. A 9mm casing will destroy that ejector over time. heck mine lasted 2 reloads. I spent 50.00 for the 10 round mag hoping it was a good product, Boy was I wrong. who's the idiot to thank for plastic ejectors? Heck even a 10/22 mag has its ejectors machined out of stainless steel. Rebuild your injection mould and accommodate it to accept a stainless steel insert as a replacement for your ejector.
Thank you for your feedback David. Yes, we do extensive internal testing and have multiple EndoMags with 6,000 plus rounds with zero issues. We are sorry you are having issues with durability. Please send photos of the damaged EndoMags to support@meanarms.com and we will be glad to help.
This system is absolutely horrible. The ejector is WORTHLESS it’s basically a bolt action gun. The mag fits the lower, fits the bolt however will not eject the round. I had one magazine without issues and every round since then has jammed and will not eject the round. The company has pretty terrible customer service and their videos obviously do not work for all platforms. My recommendation would be to make a steel ejector and offer an ejectorless platform for restricted compliant magazines. DO NOT BUY THIS.

If you would like for us to figure out what is causing the feed issues (99% of the time is bolt carrier and barrel chamber, not the EndoMag) our support team is ready to help you! If you would rather prefer a refund we can do that as well no problems.
We just ask that you contact us through support@meanarms.com and start a support ticket FIRST before flaming us on UA-cam, when we havent been given the chance to help.
Best Regards,
Mean Arms
@@andrewbiskup I've sent more than 1 email with no replies buddy seriously , karri's guns just asked if I watched your break in video and yes for 3 hours trying to tune them with nothing but a bunch of ruined 9mm ammo after
@@andrewbiskup seriously I love the whole concept if they worked, I bought everything from karri's as a package deal so you'd think they'd work, it disappointed me enough that I now have a dedicated 9 lower coming that takes glock mags

Mean Arms
Or just buy an AR9!
Broke it 🤦🏽♂️
“Break in required”... Emphasis Added! I’m still trying to get 3 endo mags to run smoothly. I’ve emailed MEAN arms for help several times and keep receiving “empty” replies from Tommy Lawson, sales manager. Please post pictures of how to trim / shave / modify the plastic ejector “somewhere” for users to find since there seems to be a problem replying to my email requests.....
The ejectors are the absolute worst part. I couldn’t even get through two mags before the ejector started to take a shit!
Would not recommend this product. Does not eject rounds properly
Sorry to hear you're having problems with your EndoMag. It appears that we received your email at about 8:30pm EST on Friday night. We responded first thing this morning (Monday). As we're sure you can imagine, our customer service department was not working over Easter weekend. We look forward to working with you to solve the problem. All EndoMags come with our Lifetime Warranty.
not worth the trouble
They suck, customer service is a joke
Sorry you are not happy with our products and service. We strive and work very hard to satisfy all our customers. The AR-9 unlike the AR-15 doesn't have standard specs. There is a wide range of bolt and barrel designs for the AR-9 platform. We would very much like to discuss your issue and understand why you are unhappy with our product and support. You can contact us at support@meanarms.com.
Sorry, no! Your videos make the assumption that they work without issue. They do not. In addition to that, I tried to work it out and even made a suggestion of how to fix it. Your egotistical employees would not hear it...
