3 weeks old i was at this point. I KINDA was alive when they looked badass still
Thanks for posting, Metallica sure were playing good during this period.
pretty good sound quality for that year..
It was, but we managed to get in by queueing up for 4 hours, at least!
@gnrguitar13 Its just fairly small, around 2k ppl. Its was escape the studio type tour, guess they just fitted in dates they could.
it was a secret show they did, people who went got a surprise on who it is
JAMES ❤
yyyyyeeeeeeeaaaaaaaa\m/
The bright light on James makes him look like he's bald on the top lol
That looks like a tiny venue compared to what they usually played during this time. Or does it just look small from the camera viewpoint?
they did 3 suprise shows while recording load and reload so yeah its a smaller venue, they just wanted to see if they could record and play
More vids 0please
It's a show in a club for, only for Metclubbers.
Lars played tight as fuck in 1995
That sure is a small ass venue. I thought from 1989 and on wards they only played stadiums.
It used to be a great venue had a lot of History which is probably the reason they're playing (purely a guess), sadly it got flattened in 09 so London could build a cross city rail line.
I had no idea, I'm from Toronto Canada and we have a place here like that called the El Mocambo, its a tiny club but many legendary acts from The Beatles and Ramones have played there and its closed now but its at least not torn down lol
it was a secret show they did, people who went got a surprise on who it is
sometimes bigger bands like to play small venues as a surprise treat to fans for a more intimate experience and/or because they want to lean into trying out new stuff before taking it on a grand scale
