Testing the KOWA TSN 99A with the TE-80XW Eyepiece and iPhone 13 Pro. Still waiting for the phone scope adapter so this was all done handheld with the phone on the eyepiece.
Immaculate! I have an 883 with the 11 eyepiece and it's wonderful. I bought the extender and the extra zoom does not reveal any flaws in the scope but the image is certainly darker at full magnification. What distance were these gorgeous specimens observed from?
The scope was mounted on a fluid head. I used the the adaptor from PhoneSkope. It works. But use the right eyepiece for it. The 40x wide view eyepiece works well.
for me kowa is a good product for spotting scope. i have one old scope from kowa series and it is still good .

Great shots! May I ask, which lens in the iPhone 13 were you using? The 26mm or the 56mm? Does the TE-80XW vignette with the 26mm lens? Thanks
The shorter 26mm. You have to use the 40x wide eyepiece to minimise vignette. Or the zoom eyepiece at its wider end.
