Telescope vs. Telephoto lens | Kowa TSN 99 first test

- In this video I do my first test on the field with the new Kowa TSN 99 , unfortunately still paired with the iPhone because i didn’t have any adapter for my R5 camera. We're gonna do also some comparisons against the Canon 600mm f/4 and the R5 . Who will win?
I'm also thinking about getting a TSN 99. A big upgrade for me. I am very grateful for information from an independent user. I also like your videos. Keep it up !! THX

The 2x is not a good choice - it introduces distortion. You should compare 600/f4 with r7 (1.6x magnification) and 1.4x adapter and stop down slightly. I have seen this arrangement outperforming the Kowa. And the r7 is $1500. What I saw elsewhere is that the 600f4 outperforms the kowa cropped and is way better when you take into account image stabilisation. see ua-cam.com/video/rBZwhvo3IZo/v-deo.html at about 4:19
