- We headed North to Aberdeenshire to meet our friend and Kowa digiscoping ambassador legend Mr Paul Hackett who took us on an epic digiscoping adventure around Scotland.
We took a quick break to find out what digiscoping equipment he is currently using to create his stunning images.

We all love Mr Hackett. Nicest guy and fountain of knowledge.
Are there any plans from Kowa to produce binoculars with the same flourite lenses as in the scopes, to compete with the other top manufactures in the c£1,500 - £2,000 bracket? I'm sure they would be a huge seller.
Hello Olivia! Check out the Genesis range of binoculars - they are using our legendary fluorite rich XD lenses and are an absolute top performer and in the same league as the top models from other high end manufacturers :)
Hey I kid you not / I met Rob and John at titchwell 3 weeks ago . Yes I know it sounds insane but I have every Swarovski scope. But I have never been happy with the 65 objective in the BTX or zoom eye piece . I wanted a small light easy to handle scope to pair with my Swarovski NL pure and my SONY RX10 Camera ( highly recommended) and I asked them to show me the new 66 Prominar . Well I actually bought one with the wide angled 35x eye piece . It’s not perfect and has some MINOR peripheral flaws on design but it beats the pants of the Swarovski equivalent BY FAR !!! I cannot stop using this scope . It presents with optics that are UNBELIEVABLE for a 66 mm and the ficus and handling is the same . It now is my go to scope - I’m a convert - independent comment here - don’t faff around - If you want a portable light scope with a massive wow factor with a stunning bright field if view - BUY THE PROMINAR 66S straight - with the xtra wide eyepiece - JUST OUTSTANDING
Ok, ask I must: is it "Kowa" as in "ow!" or "Kowa" as in "Oh!" The people who answer the phones in the US say "Kohwa."
I really like Kowa, I like the 44mm genesis binoculars but they are heavy, would be great if you could tweak these with lighter weight and bit larger field of view.
Stay tuned for new product updates! ☺
@@kowasportingoptics nice one! When can we expect the updates??? 😊
@GM-bq6zo It will take a while - but our engineers are working very hard!
@@kowasportingoptics thanks I was looking at buying the genesis but if you had a new range coming out, I'd wait.
The BD are amazing . The Field of view is incredible , and lightweight .
I use an angled scope, why are angled scopes a lot more popular?
most people find them a more comfortable viewing experience- the tripod does not need to be set high to align the scope with your eye
