i teach my students to do a “creators notebook” it’s a free form journal where you can do what ever. but some sections have tabs to help organize thoughts a little bit

Just watched a video that says burnout can’t be overcome by motivation or sheer will. It causes worse burnout if you force it for too long and then recovery is exponentially harder... food for thought. From book “Calm Your Mind”

i also get the new-year burnout! i think it's because where i am in california, our coldest month is january, so it just is not the vibe, the SAD kicks in, and it's just really hard to get myself to improve my life rather than just maintaining the status quo. i usually do my "new year's improvements" later in the year (since i'm still in college, i like doing it over spring break).
