Thanks man! No way!! I’ve lost way too many fish, fishing with a tight drag. Letting them fight is good, but horsing them in too fast results in not many catches. Just my opinion! Thanks for the comment 🤙
Hey man you might not see this but I just wanted to ask what would be the best for bass or catfish I’m headed out to silverwood this weekend at night and just wanted to ask for some tips and tricks if that was possible , thanks man hope you have a great day and keep catching these monsters
Cool bro, appreciate it 💯. I’ve caught some stripers and bass on jerkbaits recently. If you’re not getting any hits switch up to a jighead with a 4 inch fluke (both types work with a fork tail/ swimming type paddle tail). For catfish try using garlic worms or anchovies/sardines. Target 30-40 feet out from shore. Anything with a smell will help to produce bites. I hope you guys slay 🔥🤙👊
It’s been pretty decent. The water temps are higher than what Trout prefer. Just trying to catch at least one on each trip. No Skunk in Big Bear 😂. Hope all is well big dog! Hit me up and we’ll go get some Striper or Cat at the Wood 🤙❤️🎣
@@ReelTimeWithTimmI’m new to fishing and planning on going tomorrow with a Couple of friends, could you recommend the best lakes to fish at the moment? Also taking restocks into account. thank you!
@trentyo1519 Cool man! I know it been rather hot during day, but the catfish bite is good right now. Not sure where you’re located, or how far you’re willing to travel?
@@ReelTimeWithTimm I’m located in Gardena, willing to drive out 3 hours! We were planning on leaving super early in the morning because we heard that’s the best time. Also looking for catch fish to eat. Thank you so much!!!
@@trentyo1519 Nice bro! I personally think Silverwood lake is a good spot for cat/striper. If you go to the marina and walk down to the point on the right, I’ve seen many people catching cats there. There’s Hesperia Lake, Mojave Narrows Regional Park too and they are having a catfish derby the whole month of August (500 for 1st). Have you tried Fisherman’s Retreat? Lake Gregory in Crestline also has been stocking cats too.
Tighten your drag
