Sorry for hurry, I had to get from Shinjuku to Shibuya station (6km) before rain started and still failed. I passed through Kabukicho and walked along railroad, then crossed Harajuku by Takeshita street. I almost got to Shibuya station but then raining got harder.

im from tokyo but moved to uk. i didnt even think about my home city that much before but after moving to uk i finally realised how great place it was.... i miss tokyo.

First 10 Minutes were my very first footsteps in japan, from Shinjuku Station to Hotel, just backwards. :) Great Footage as always.
A much different vibe, Rambalac. I see a wide range of dress, from the hipster to the Bohemian, with a few darlings in a more daring garb (3:27). That twinkling before night fall is my favorite time to shoot, and the overcast sky brings out the red and blues and all the hues that seem to come alive at dusk. Good video capture, Rambalac. That 8 to 18mm is not too common of a glass, and it lends an interesting look.

What a wonderfully vibrant and lovely city Tokyo is. That was a wonderful stroll. I so wish I could go to Tokyo and walk up and down these streets like you do, but unless a large pile of money just suddenly falls into my lap, I'll never be able to afford to go. T_T.

This big city is peaceful . Nobody is screaming or talking too loud.
How been in big American cities; they were the opposite... stupid people make loud noices and polluting the cities by their existence... and there are a lot of stupid people so the effect was pretty significant.

I really recommend you to cover Sasazuka, Yoyogi Hachiman, Yoyogi Uehara area at night(mostly residential) and Suitenguumae towards Kiyosumi Shirakawa at night. Lucky if you see sumo wrestler walking out from seven eleven! Tokyo is culturally rich.

明治通りをひたすら直進し渋谷駅東口か反対側の渋谷ハチ公前広場あたりに到達するのかと予測してたのですが、大きく予測を外れて新宿高島屋とタイムズスクエアの間を抜けJR山手線沿いを直進して再び明治通りへ。そこまではまだ良かったのですが、そこから明治通りを渋谷に向けてまっしぐら直進するかなと思いきや脇道の区道へ右折して原宿駅側を経由して竹下通りに進入し再び明治通りに出るという大きな寄り道に踏み込むコースだったので、かなりのタイムロスがあり渋谷まで到達出来ずにauショップ明治通り店の所で終了してまったので残念。
余談ですが北参道交差点にあった千駄ヶ谷出張所の跡地がまだ空地になってますがオリンピック開幕が来年なので東京都か渋谷区の管理で何か建設されるんですかね。
新国立競技場までの距離がさほど遠くないだけに、どんな用途に使われるのか気になるところです。

Out of all your videos, the Japanese seem to wave or smile once in a while when they see you with the camera. Most of the foreigners try to avoid eye contact. I have been to japan so i do have some experience. Rambalac, do you have any explanation as to the foreigners face of fear?
I bet Japanese are more surprised to see what I'm carrying because it's quite big.
