Is this channel even real? I mean a video of Japan with full street shooting, activity and else and most importantly without the owner review in the background. It just so way unbelievable to crossover this kind of high quality channel. A content I forever thankful for. Definitely subscribed!

I'm not sure why, but seeing those houses illuminated by warm orange lights, a tall building and the quiet calls of crickets in the background, it made me really want to live there and enjoy the peace and tranquility too. I love my home country but at the same time, I want to have a happy family in the quiet backstreets of Japan ♡

A few things i've noticed watching these videos:
    1) The utter lack of visual police presence and the accompanying lack of sirens and alarms is in stark contrast to what you would typically hear in any major US city.
    2) Japanese folk pretty much mind their own business; You do not see too many interpersonal interactions between people and various strangers.
    3) The electricity bill to power such a gargantuan construct as Tokyo must be in the tens of millions of dollars a day.
side note: @28:30 That is one classy laid back shopping mall.

Been 4 times to Japan. I use his videos when I'm feeling down or I miss Tokyo too much. Can almost feel like I'm there walking the streets, and very often I remember walking exactly there, seeing how it's changed or sometimes not at all.
      Brilliant. Nostalgic.

Thanks so much for sharing another one of your deeply inspired and poignant night walks in Japan. I'm enjoying it. It reminds me very much not only of my occasional late night/(mostly) midnight jogs on Okinawa because it was relatively quiet and safe around that time, but of my walks and talks around the back alleys and neighborhoods with my dad. Watching this walk at the moment helps keep my fond memories of my dad alive:)

Japanese children can go out alone at night even in Tokyo .When I was a child,I went out at night or midnight.

52:43 when the flash of the phone illuminates the smiling faces of what i guess is a grandpa and grandson... made me feel so warm and fuzzy, the love the man has for the child there for an instant, then it's gone, their story goes on without us knowing. almost poetic.
