- How to drift in Assetto Corsa with steering wheel in todays Part 3 drift tutorial covering the handbrake and footbrake fundamentals of drifting in a manual car with clutch. I show left foot braking technique as well as handbrake to adjust your drifts! These tips and techniques can be applied to any game, like forza horizon 4 or CarX Drift racing, the theory also works for controller! I use a thrustmaster tsxw steering wheel with Nardi Wheel Rim, thrustmaster shifter and tss sparco mod handbrake. Setup on a next level racing rig. I am not a pro drifter in real life, I have been sim drifting for 3 years and this is what I have learnt which I am sharing with you :) I have been drifting in real life for the past 2 months and I have found these techniques help in real life drifting too!

Extra Tip: If you don't have a handbrake, map your guide button on your wheel base as the handbrake, I did it before I got one, check it out in this old video! ua-cam.com/video/0ZDlxV6wd_c/v-deo.html
Another idea.. I have logitech g29 and shifter, i map gear 4 as handbrake and change gears with the paddles. I then put an elastic band around the gear stick and a screw just infront of the shifter. This way the gear stick is always in third and when i pull it back into fourth for handbrake it is sort of spring loaded back into third! Happy drifting people!
You forgot to pin your comment😝
@@roche1517 thanks 😂
You should do a video showing us your wheel settings

Thanks a lot man! I remember watching part 1 and having trouble after trying out your tips and tricks. I thought I was never going to be able to drift. 2 weeks later I'm on clutch kickers sliding around with the boys.

part 4?:3
After watching and applying everything taught in your tutorials, I feel much more confident in my skills. The difference from when I started to now is huge, all thanks to you, man. Stay safe out there and stay sideways.
I've learned a lot with all your lesson. PART 4 PLEASE!
I was left foot braking while racing , after watching this and having it all explained has made a massive difference instantly cheers
you should become a rl drift teacher, with this information.... i would come if or when i could
That was the best drifting tutorial ever! What a guy! So much info. Good work, you earned yourself a subscription.
Thanks for much for this videos. I was using these tips for FH4 (since you said this works in other games) and finally, after like 3 years of trying, and on the eve of FH5, I was finally able to put down some drifts consistently for the first time today. I watched numerous videos on the topic, especially ones that showed how to drift with my wheel (G920), but it was really your emphasis on throttle control that finally put everything together...so thanks again!
From myself and everybody here Thanks for awesome tips. We need more people with these skills for longer trains🤙
I hope people actually realise this is also for real life too. Very useful information 💁♀️. Also iv been left foot braking on simulator for around a year and now naturally I do it while driving on the track. 😊. Ps love the vids
You are absolutely amazing! The drifting, just amazing how you do that.
thank you for the sickk tutorials! after watching this i realized i was already doing the right things by instinct without actually knowing what i am doing... the best secret though remains practice practice practice!
I love your drifting man, you're sooo smooth! This tutorial was very nice btw
Hello Toretto. I am from Spain and I have been following you for a few months and I have improved a lot watching your videos although it has been a bit difficult for me to understand, I have even taken screenshots and translated with google to see your tutorials. Here in Spain there is no one who comes close to your level, and worldwide you are TOP for sure. Thankyou so much for the videos. For part 4 of the series "how to do 360" 🤣
Vil du være med på fortnite nå med Christian orhan berg okei
Awesome, best drifting tutorial ever made! Waiting for the next one ☝🏽
Nice I am currently learning your videos help me a lot 3 weeks and I am holding some drift hope someday can drift like you do 🔥❤️
Thanks man I always had that little confusion of why u use the brakes now it's clear
Even tho my pc can't handle Asseto corsa (i use LiveForSpeed) & i don't have a steering wheel (i drift on mouse), this series is actually helping me way more that i was expecting. The foot break thingy is really helpfull in low - mid horsepower cars, like the s13 i use. Thank you CToretto, keep up with the great content!!
Wow, after searching for a decent drift tutorials so glad I come across these. I’m still at part 1. All the comments here are so encouraging too so hoping I’ll be sliding around in AC soon. Ps I could watch you drift all day. Subbed 🙂
Finally, I’ve been needing a left foot brake tutorial
Your handbrake sounds like a gun barrel pull
Excellently well explained man, these series are satisfying to watch and helpfull
Awesome video! Best drift school videos I ever seen! GJ
Brilliant tutorial from the cleanest e drifter if ever watched. Tyvm sir.
Bro... Those videos are really helpful.
Learned a lot from them and I'm finally drifting!
sick video literally getting my first 'real' wheel since the microsoft 360 wheel, g920 with the shifter and ebrake mod, thank you for the content!
What’s the ebrake mod
Your videos helped me a lot to get better at drifting, thank you so much! 🙏
im so excited to start drifting after watching this. Im building a sim right now and cant stop thinking about it.
Your First 2 videos helped me massively getting started, thanks mate
This video is very timely, I received my G29 today
Thanks for the tips man!! Love your videos. 😍❤️
I just wanna say thanks ctoretto ,after watching your videos I am drifting just like you ,I use to struggle a lot even at FHZ 5 ,but thanks to you I could definitely fix my 3 biggest mistakes #1 I was not kicking the clutch wen I was loosing power or transitioning #2 I was letting my wheel lock all the way to right or left and not returning it back on time so that was kicking me out of the track every time #3 I was not using enough gass and the tires were gripping way too much wich was also kicking me out of track… 🎉🎉🎉
You’re a 🌟! Thank you for all your tips!
Great tutorial, I appreciate you spending the time to help us plebs
King of control, thanks alot bro 🏆
You must remember that it's TSXW ;) on lower base, like G920 or TMX, it's much harder to play with weight - they are just too slow to turn enough. I see a huge difference after buying TX. But still sometimes handbrake is like 'must have' ;) Great video, a pleasure to watch it. As always, you are doing amazing job. Peace.
You are right, I have a Thrustmaster TMX and it's very slow
Awesome!
Thank again for another amazing vid.
You have a great way of presenting/explaining that really teaches how to drift.
Thanks a lot... cause I really need the help. Hehe
Dudde, I have learn a lot in your channel , thank you for this, is six moth a have study a lot with you, and now I cam drift a little, thanks man, I love you tips :)

Watched part 1 2 and 3, great tutorials! Very helpfull! I'm not gonna do the thing where you footbrake and throttle at the same time because i want to build good habits that translate into real life aswell, also saves money xD
And here I thought this was the first time I was going to hear your voice lol, great video man.

You are a legend 🙌
learned a lot tnx for this
Excelent!!! Yo creo que de tantos videos tuyos que vi, ya aprendí jejeje
good vid bro!
Loved it
This guy teaches so good
Really good tutorial
Another thing if you can’t drift: it could possibly be your force feed back settings where you have the wheel too light to the point it has no response. In my opinion I like the wheel high on FFB(force feed back) which allows me to read the wheel easier.
Thanks for the tips bro🙏
there in his description
