Only runners can lay on the ground breathing like a dying horse and giving fist pumps to each other, saying well done mate and it was so much fun🙂. Absolutely love that because I am exactly the same.
That was one hell of a surge off the top of the hill, fair play!! Great job out there, as always 👊 saved the best sprint till last as well!
Solid race. Always nice to be the one out kicking others to the line!
Thanks. Yeah, just need to put myself in a position where I’m sprinting for a podium place.
Top running mate! Thanks for the tag, great Vlog 👌🏻
great effort ❤
Great production on the video Matt, the switch between cameras worked really well! Great sprint finish 💥
Great running Matt, put the after burners on at the end! 😂
There is a very good chance that the same thing that gives you that kick , also is what gets you in the hills . You naturally have a lot of muscle in your body , that stuff is dense is essentially a ruck sack on the climbs , but what a kick 🔥
Very true! A great point.
Impressive sprint finish! Solid.
I know the feeling of loosing power on the slightest inclines and then having a heart rate spike , so frustrating even though like yourself I train hills 🤷
Cracking finish.....
Congrats good job
Thanks
Regular strength training would help with the hills 💪🏼
How are you going to get better at hills Freddie?
Iron levels maybe causing the issues on the hills x
I dont think there is any issue with your hill running. Absolutely speaking, the slow down on the hill is perfectly within the parameters what I would expect. The winner was taking it easy the first 2 km's, thats why he could go faster on the hill, but he then maintained the "faster" after that. So it was not because he is a better hill runner but purely because he was a faster runner.
Local race? Is that if you swim over Matt? 😂
