    Jessie, you never have to feel the need to apologize for doing what you need to do to take care of yourself and anyone who's ever suffered from migraines completely understands what you're going through. I have a self-cleaning oven, and I can't stand it because of the odor. I only use it when I can open windows and doors. I know you felt good waking up to a clean house. Have a great day.

      Mine isn't stinky!! But I know what you mean because my last one was! I wonder if ita because this one is technically a wall oven.

    I think it's important to teach children as much as possible before school starts. I taught my niece to read when she was 3 years old. She is graduating this year and they just told her she is valedictorian of her class. She was reading college books in junior high school. She just loves to read. I remember just starting her out on sight words and it grew and grew. She is definitely a smart young lady and I am so proud of her.

    • @JessieLifestyleAtHome
      @JessieLifestyleAtHome  7 місяців тому

      That's amazing!!! I didn't learn to read until school and actually struggled to learn it was so pitiful but once I got the hang of it I was a speed comprehensive reader and won prizes and contest for it and it has become a love and passion of mine. My oldest loves to read as well. My daughter likes reading but loves art more. I will definitely work more with Malcolm before school with reading and preschool curriculum to get him ready.

      I know, I know. Other thing have taken priority, like buying 2 teenager cars, an anniversary trip to jamaica, now a trip to japan with my daughter ... we will get to it one day. We pay for everything with cash so if something else takes my fancy first the bathroom gets kicked to the bottom of the list because it does function even though it's ugly. I am buying things that I see on sale though. Next thing is the outdoor kitchen makeover.

    Land of Lakes has a spreadable butter. Nobody should ever use margarine it’s not good for anyone, same holds true for diet drinks….they still have a sweetener, but that sweetener can cause all kinds of health issues. You work so hard Jesse, I always think we should see your older kids helping out, then I remember that my kids, especially the youngest really helped very little with chores, which he reminds me of when I ask why his 20 yr old doesn’t mow the lawn. We eventually hired a housekeeper and lawn care company since we both worked outside the home and ran a business four days a week then spent the weekend cleaning and doing yard work. We also hired a pool cleaner, finally hiring those helpers gave us some much needed free time. I’m sorry about your migraines, I had a headache every single day for three years without fail, was on a thread on FB about migraines and I said I don’t have those but I’ve had a headache for three years, some lady asked what medicine my doctor gave me and I told her Tramadol. She said Tramadol??? What kind of doctor gives his patients Tramadol? Tramadol is known to cause headaches. Well she ticked me off!
    I liked my doctor. Then one day I ran out of Tramadol, and I didn’t have a headache. Next day picked up my prescription, took one tablet, had a headache. Next day I purposely didn’t take a Tramadol, and I didn’t have a headache, and I never took another Tramadol. I still occasionally get a headache but I think they are related to allergies and sinus congestion. By the way, a friend got
    Botox injections to help with her migraines. Hope you have a nice weekend. 😊

      My husband takes tramadol for his back when it gets bad!! Whew! Luckily for us my oldest does a LOT of yard work for us in the spring and summer time. He and my daughter take care of the upstairs cleaning and their laundry. He also does trash Dump runs when my husband is out of town. So they does all the stuff not shown on camera 🤣🤣

    Jessie, as much as we love your videos, we think more of you as a good friend and we want you to just take care of yourself. I hope you find some relief with this medication. I've watched you suffer with migraines for years and I know it's always been a struggle for you. Just look after yourself first! We'll always be here. And by the way, I was one of those people that didn't read the manual for the oven, did self cleaning and all the shine came off of the racks 😝But they still do the job!! :)

    • @JessieLifestyleAtHome

      Oh noooo!! Don't worry about that one. I should specify that *I* am not the one that reads the manuals. My husband is the one who does that, so if it was up to me, everything would be on a whim and a prayer 🤣

      It can get pretty bad sometimes. I wish I could figure out the why. I asked the neurologist and she said sometimes there is no real why. There is some people that get Unexplainable incurable but manageable inflammation in the brain. But we will see with MRI what's going on.

    My son took topamax for chronic migraines. It was a miracle drug for the migraines, but it really took a toll on him emotionally. He was not his usual self and we didn’t realize it was the medication until he went off of it. It made him very irritable and just generally “off” but it was a lifesaver for the migraines. We were desperate and it did the job. I hope you have the same results without all the negative parts! 🤞

      Not yet! He is making plans and saving for maybe next year with his long term girlfriend. The renter economy is not friendly as it was when I was a young adult. We were 18 and 21 with a child and paid 720 a month for a 2 bedroom 1 bath. They want 2 grand for the same place now. It's crazy. My husband's first apartment was a one bedroom for 325 a month! It's now 1300. Insane. So they are making sure they are saving up money. And can afford it and utilities and emergencies etc.
