I have honestly watched literally hundreds of videos of truck camper build outs and I have not seen one nicer than yours. Well thought out, extremely organized and extremely functional. Well done! Very well done indeed...
All I can say is WOW! Your setup is by far the most well thought out and organized over landing rig I have ever seen! Great job. And NOBODY will mess with you with all that personal protection!
After watching this whole video it made me wonder if I've ever even watched an entire camper tour before. This was so well done that I only want to stay up to date with YOUR videos now 😂. A true standard has been implemented in my mind, bravo sir
I don't think I've ever seen such a great set up as yours. I too have the 5' Tacoma bed. Seriously this is very inspirational. Thank you for sharing this.
I'm from Santa Barbara and Topo Toppers is 30 minutes away. I'm sold on it now. I was saying to myself that I would have my shotgun with a variety of shells and boom you had it. Perfect 👌.
I was like ok this is a pretty impressive setup…then you lifted up the flag and went full John wick lol probably the most impressive setup I’ve seen. Well done
You have a really nice and well thought out set-up. I appreciate the fact that you pay attention to and show us your personal safety measures. Thanks for the video.
Nice build! Really like what you did, especially with the 1 piece bed platform. Cool that you don’t have any bed struts to go bad - just clip it at the end. 👌
I was thinking the same. This is the first video I've watched with that type of pop up top. Makes more sense to just lift the whole thing out of the way.
I love the practical approach to your set up. Plus how you actually have protection. I follow a lot of overlanders that go to some beautiful places but none ever have protection which makes no sense to me. Love the set up btw
Remarkable rig, man! I was really following Topo Toppers and super pacific for the last 6 months. I was so close to pulling the trigger for Topo, but as we were going back to the parking lot my wife saw Pack Out Campers booth. The wife was sold to gas strut-assisted floors and bike mounts and wide windows all around. I'm so glad we went PNW overland expo. Picking up our camper next month.
Wow, what a great build out. You have a well built and thought out camper. Thanks for sharing and showing us how it is done. You have built your bug out vehicle right here. Nice, so nice. Much respect sir.
What a great video, i am amazed at how well such a small space was used. I have an old M1 trailer I've been gathering ideas about, and your setup has made me rethink how i want to build it. The way everything is organized is pretty awesome, great job by you and the designers.
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes I know I’m actually going to put solar panels on the top of the camper to charge the battery so I’ll get rid of the power inverter.
What a great video and build. Thanks for sharing this video and also for listing where you purchased all of your gear. That is very helpful for an old - newbie. 😉 I need a rig to take to the car races and all tracks want self contained vehicles so I'll have to work on an indoor shower set up but I'll be rewatching your video for reference. 👍
Nice built. One thing I don't understand is why people go with an expensive Jackery vs a car battery and inverter combination that is way cheaper and usually more powerful...
Great setup! I'll take a lot of ideas from you. I do really like your water system, the fact that you can fill it from outside and take a shower, is BRILLIANT! However, I would use the13gals for everything. Overall very nice!
Really nice setup, well done. Wish somehow the top of the camper door and tent swung out instead of just lifting up though, would keep you from having to duck under. A minor thing but my first thought when you opened it.
Great build. I have one question. Being an old IT and Music guy, I love that you used rack mount drawers. Never thought of that. Can you share the manufacture and size of the rack itself. If it was a wall mount, did you tie into the truck, if it was a four post box, how did you secure it. GREAT IDEA.
Thank you very much! In this video I explain everything. The links to the drawers should be in the description of both videos. A Detailed Look Into My Camper Build ua-cam.com/video/8zXFkawLylc/v-deo.html

Best organized topper camper I've ever seen. Bravo! Have you weighed the truck fully outfitted and ready to go camping? I'm curious what it all weighs; as I;m designing a camper also.

Quick question… Can you let me know what LED strip lights you used? I love the remote switch. Also, what dual power outlet you used as well as the map light. I have a very similar set up with an AT Atlas and I’d like to utilize some of your fantastic ideas.
So the tricolor light is from a company called “hardkorr lighting” their IG page is @hardkorrlighting. The map light is from Amazon: amzn.to/3ORFpgV but I didn’t understand which dual power outlet?

Thank you very much! For the camper alone without anything inside I paid about $8000. How much you want to spend for stuff inside is really depends on you.
Thank you! If it was only for normal overlanding and doing a lot of off-roading then probably yes. But for off-roading shorter wheelbase performs better.
What a fantastic camper build out. I have a 5 ft bed and youve given me ideas and inspiration. Question, how well does it camp with 2 people, e.g. with your spouse or girlfriend? Im wrestling with balancing interior and exterior living space with an eye towards traveling as a couple.
That's one of the nicest set ups I've seen. What is the total load weight with all the gear and topper? If you dont mind what was the appropriate total cost? Thanks
Thank you very much!! To be honest I’m not sure about the numbers. The camper alone is 275 pounds. I’m assuming I have couple hundred pounds of gears in there. As far as the cost: again the camper alone is $8000 and I think I spent around $5000 in there to make it the way it is now.
Your video style is so refreshing, I appreciate not feeling like I'm watching an infomercial with sponsorhip adds like all the youtubers. I also appreciate your peraonal customization, the platform lift is exactly what I was looking for. Great video, I'm now a subscriber!
Love the setup. I'm in Ontario, hope to see you in the trails someday in big bear. Can you tell me more about your step ladder? I wonder if it'll reach the floor on my Power Wagon on 37s.
Thank you!! I was in Big Bear last weekend actually. As far as the ladder i think it will reach the floor but not sure. Here is the link: amzn.to/3t4L2jB

Great rig. Only suggestion it to get an exterior bracket for the LP tank and get it away from electrical and outside your living space.
