Repair switch for 6501EA1001. Used for 1year old LG Top loader. WT7155CW. Glad it worked and I changed it myself. They dont make them like they used to. Easy to replace once I figured how to take the top off. Cost $47.16 for part and $20 for fast shipping. I need my washer! 😅
This video helped me out, the only problem was that the piece I ordered from Amazon the string part was too short. I bought the piece from clicking the link on this video. I just ended up swapping the old plastic string with the new one & it worked. My model is an LG WT7300CW
I wish someone would explain how the switch works. Because going from Pin 1-3 even on a brand new switch givee 23 ohms and this reading doesn't change even if you blow through the pressure hose as hard as you can
The switch is a pressure transducer with a cmos chip inside, it isn’t like a regular pressure switch. The only way to check it is to see if you get the ~22ohms from pins 1-3 and if it still rattles when shaken, unless of course you use an oscilloscope to check the output.
I bought a replacement unit and fitted it myself following this brilliant video. My machine 14 kilo LG. Cost of genuine part $25

If the hose is good just replace the Switch. much simpler.
