I bought my 2016 Mazda 6 pearl white 6 months ago. I have 2 Iraq tours and 1 South Korea hostile tour. Those tours taught me about the durability of your equipment in life. My mazda has heldup outstandingly since I first drove it. I am super humbled and proud that soo many people are into Mazda 6s and anything Japanese!!! Its an honor to drive my car. I absolutely love the Konig wheels it came with and the sleekness of the whole car itself.
Buy Japanese, you cant go wrong. Had my Suzuki SX4 for 13 years, 140k miles. Same exhaust, same engine parts etc. Changed the Battery, Discs and Pads and one front suspension spring in 13 years. Just bought a fully kitted, top of the line Mazda CX5. I'll report back here in another 13 years.
Had a 2007 Mazda 6 for 12 years and 215k miles on it and i just recently replaced the clutch for the first time...I hardly had any issues with it. Only replaced the tires, battery, discs and pads and had one tune up. just bought a 2017 mazda 6, hoping for the same results.
The Soul Red it’s like Toyota’s Tokyo Red (the red on the current Prius) and it’s a difficult color to make as the shading and depth effect are from layering of the pains and lacquers. All modern paints are chipping fast. I own a 2018 Suzuki and it’s full of scratches and scuffs.
I would buy a Mazda. They have always strived for quality and fun to drive. That's what I like and their style is different and sporty and classy at the same time
My 2009 Mazda 6 is treating me well. 120,000 miles and it still rides amazingly well on the original suspension. Mine may have been built in the USA, but they did a great job. Gaps were dead-on.
I bought one in 2017. 40.000 km. No problem except I changed the battery. Before I was buying german car. My last 2015 C-Class, 40.000 km, already got so many problems : automatic transmission, suspensions, tire, electric glass, start-stop...I kept it one year and half and gave up with that piece of crap. I will never buy german car anymore.
@Pedro DLR you need to educate yourself !!Mazda and ford joint venture ended in 2011 now both are independent manufacturers. Mazda make their own skyactiv transmission and engines just check wikipedia "skyactive" and by the way toyota is also sourcing engines from Mazda since 2017

I've own an rx8 for 4 years now and it's been amazing car. Never get bored of it . People love hating that car but as an owner , it's what made me fall in love with Mazda , it's a special car, it's the heart and soul of mazda ( rotary) it's also why my new daily vehicle will be a Mazda 6 or 3 .
Latest Mazda cars designs look so badass ... Especially the headlights.... They look even scarier as I thought ... And it reminds me of a monster's eyes... But pretty good looking
We bought a Mazda 6 in 2004. We keep it in the garage and it is still drives like new. It doesn’t know it’s 14 years old. Just rolled over 50k miles! I saw the 2019 M6 and the CX-9...WOW...Very impressive!

@@Robben1331 you must remove dpf and reprogram computer and open EGR valve, 99%of the problem is solve. I live in country there is no dpf control in tehnical when I go to register the car
not really, they are all trained well, and there are multiple control mechanisms involed, you may have noticed QC checks everything trough at the end of production line, also when new parts came in, they are inspected, and pretty much every step is checked by someone or something at least once during production. And then they test drive the car as well.

If you warm up the 2.5 engine until the temp starts moving up you are far less likely to have leaks. This is true with any car but i am confident I will get 500,000 miles out of my 2009 mazda 6 2.5 just by fluid and filter maintenance. Tire rotations are critical.
Unlike a video I saw of Mercedes C-Class production, these people take their time and really try their best more. C-Class production showed everything being done a bit quickly and seemed quite rushed. Japanese striving for perfection!
I love my Mazda 6. I've had 3 Chevys, 1 BMW, 2 VW and this Mazda. My dad has had two Mazdas; one he drove into the ground a 626 and this SUV that he bought a decade or more ago. I sit in my 6 and just... love it.
Mazda can be proud of it's made cars. Here's my story kids. A friend had a Mazda 626/Capella (GD, GV) that was assembled in 1988 of course with some visual wear outs but it was driveable for almost 30 years, till 2018. Assembled in Japan. That's what you call quality!

Can't understand why Japanese Americans buy Toyotas or Hondas. I'm not Japanese but I LOVE my Mazda 6 Signature. Car is premium in looks and feel. And its 99% imported. does the Bose speaker on the front doors work ? they don't work for me, only the dash (near the windshield) are working. When i asked my car dealer they said it's working as intended.
