Will, If you would have folded the front seats forward you would have discovered fold up extensions to the bed, then the small cushions you put in the middle of the bed go on the bed extensions, the backrests on the seating made the matress centre infill.
This all sounds far too complicated for me 😂😂
Would a tall person of 6/2 be able to sleep length ways ? Instead of across the motorhome?

it has a bed, functional kitchen and bathroom, with enough room to stand up and move around. it's a great little camper, as we've seen worse with bigger ones.
I've had Nu Venture Nu Rio SD for 12 years, probably slightly bigger than Surf. Love it to bits & often stopped by people who admire. Husband was 6'3"& we had 2 dogs; no problem! Now I'm widowed & have just one big dog it really is home from home & we're off as much as possible for day, weekend or longer holidays to visit family 300 miles away in Cornwall or just anywhere! Wild camping or awning up for longer stay on a site, what not to love?!
Nuventure did a full tour video of these as well as many other van conversions when they started production umpteen years ago. The guy that made the videos is still going strong but now known as Dan the man 321, well worth a watch.

One way to keep the doggers away is to leave your cab interior light on and occasionally flash your main driving lights a few times. Hope that helps

I absolutely love this mini motor home Will, it is probably one of the best organised and engineered motor home for its size I have ever seen. I dont know if you can top one better in the future.
It really is a great little camper, will deffo be hard to beat 😊

That's an epic little camper. Would do a first time buyer. Everything you need for a home away from home.
Now if I was to purchase a motorhome, this would definitely be the one!
Here in Japan, that would not be considered small. We have a plethora of motorhomes based upon a kei-van or kei-truck. Many adhere to the regulatory dimensions of not being longer than 340cm, wider than 148cm or taller than 200cm.

Certainly needed to get along comfortably in some roads in Japan.
But there's only so much you can do in a given space, and kei motorhomes simply do not have much to work with.
I'm in the US and so jealous. You guys overseas have such so much better fun toys.
I know what you mean. You can still buy used Toyota sun Raiders in the US that are equally cool in their own right but I don’t think you can get newer mini RV’s like this anymore.

That’s not a bad van at all really, especially considering the size, I wonder if there was a way to extend the bed a bit more.

Yes, the bed can be extended into the cab area with the front seats pulled forward. Being a bloke he didn't do his homework first.

You pull out the bed extender, move the seat cushions to the middle, then lay the back cushions flat. That is your bed, and the way its been done since the 70s, or even before.

I must admit I didnt take much notice of the film after the gratuitous ass shot in Sainsbury's. That was too intense for a Sunday. Shocked to see somebody peering in through the window, then realised it was Ben reflecting in the bathroom mirror.

Great little camper, to be fair it's only 267mm shorter than my swb sprinter and has so much room for a van if this size! What a great little van, can see this appealing to singles/couples and people who don't or can't do van conversions. Really enjoyed this video, cheers Will.
The best thing with Nuventures is that they're also thin, so great for country lanes & normal parking spaces.

We had a Nu Venture Rio SD and loved it to bits. The motorhome is built by a small family run business in Wigan (not from Citroen) and based on a Citroen Berlingo chassis.
i can eat mushrooms on all dressed pizza, or fresh sliced mushrooms added on a salad occasionally, and mushrooms with onions saluted in garlic butter over a nice steak, but can not eat cream of mushroom soup.
Another great comedy brought to us by Will! 😂 Interesting camper buddy but at being six-foot-one I don't think it fit me well either!😂

Great video Will, just subscribed as well 👍I used to work for Nu Venture, I built the whole range including the bespoke builds. The Surf was one of my favourites just a shame the company isn't as good as the products, owing thousands to companies and customers and myself included. They have gone bust twice. Great video though buddy keep them coming 👍👍

I have a nu venture rio sand, slightly different layout, it has 6 feet bench seats, i think the one you were in somehow uses the front seats to extend the bad area. They are cracking little vans though.

After years of van life I’d rather have a stealth box truck that would enable me to completely customize the interior.

Honestly, if the seats could be folded from the back, you could have extended the bed area by quite a bit, more specifically by enough to have multiple tall people sleeping normally.

Oh man, first time I’ve actually watched a video with so much jealousy, I love the camper, I love this video! It’s so practical in so many different ways; I’ve seen videos of people living in their cars, but this camper isn’t much bigger but luxury living. This is the thing, it has all the important things you need, without the ridiculous things you get in those grotesque RVs, I mean who goes on a camper holiday with a flipping dishwasher?!! And with how tight our British roads are, especially in the countryside, this camper is so useful. Awesome video, but I’m just so jealous. Watching this video honestly really makes me want to learn to drive and get this camper, but the only problem is the medications I have to take for the rest of my life makes it illegal for me to operate machinery, and against the the law to operate a vehicle lol you can’t win in this life

Think my Honda Odyssey will have you beat, LOL. For us short folks, we don't need heigh ceilings. A bed, emergency toilet, maybe even a mini shower! These 50k-100k motorhomes are insanely overpriced IMHO.

As I understood from comments - sit can be folded and you get normal bed.
I personally didn't like matress, it has sofa kind, not bed kind aka too soft and after several days you will get back pain.
But besides that - actually very nice.
Stealth is zero out of ten. It is obvious from half a mile away.😅 especially with this kind of paint job. They could make look it like just regular mini cargo (aka frozen goods) truck.

Because it is flashy and obvious I would be hesitant to camp in remote locations. I hope those windows and door is good enough you just can't open it with force.
Also, no tint on windows? so unless you put blinds all people around could see what are you doing even during a day. Awkward😅

the worlds smallesr 2 persons fully equiped motorhome is Rpmahome from the Isle of Wight. Standing hight, 2 beds, full ktchen and back door.

I'm an RVer from North America. I subscribe to a couple of UK/European content creators so I know what some of your words mean (like 'park-up'). I don't know what 'dogger' means though. When I google the definition, it says Dutch sailboat. That doesn't help me figure out the context.

This thing is large, if you compare it to the Japanese k-Campers. Indiana RV Indy 727 camper is 340cm×148cm×188cm=9.46m³…
Are you OK? Windows, screens, privacy blinds, toilets, couch/bed extension, table extension ……all basic camper stuff. For someone who tests campers you seem to have a lot of trouble with basic equipment. And if that’s coq au vin then I’m the pope.
Sunliner in Australia do a couple of similar vans, built on a Ford Ranger ute chassis: the Trex has a drop down bed😮. Price wise, they're similar to the VW California- but are much better off road (4x4), better insulated (4 season) - and would be my choice. (Not to mention, you'd be able to get away from the herds of Boomers driving 6 birth rigs )😅
Daihatsu Hi-jet camper by Devon campers is WAY smaller, and available from Daihatsu main dealers as a factory option since 1996! Try harder, do better!
How much would this cost in the American Market? $50,000 plus an arm and a leg?? Sounds about right but wanted clarification

I'd love to see you take this series abroad, think that could be the next step. I understand it's obviously not very economically viable given travel for you and your camera man but it could be epic. Maybe you could combine it with the next visit to your family on the continent and line up a few videos to film in one trip :)
