Hi Lou, I'm binge watching this series, having been pointed in your direction by Christine Stokes. I love my Oxides too, so am enjoying your blends. Just wanted to say the bough, rhymes with cow, as in the bough of a tree. Also am loving your mixed media card projects. Cheers from Downunder. 🙂 Picket Fence is, I think from my memory of TH's video, a hybrid (ink/oxide) which is why there is only one.
Truly loving this very helpful series! The hint about following the rainbow in this one is a real keeper! Love this color…. must admit I have all the oxides to date. I wonder what the next one will be…??!!!🧑🏼🎨😀🤔
Lou, I am enjoying this series so much. This is very helpful. I do want to tell you that Picket Fence is actually an oxide. At least that’s what Tim Holtz says. In fact the formulation for Picket Fence was the inspiration behind the oxide line. Again thanks so much for your videos.
I have my notes from your chipped sapphire video, but I am not seeing it in the playlist. I just thought I would let you know. I love seeing these color combinations--thank you so much for doing these videos!
Really enjoying seeing the different colours blending together so well. When will you share the ideas for storing the ink pads as you mentioned on a previous blending video please? xx
I love this series it's so very helpful when on a budget but you want them all 😀 it helps so much to know which colours are very similar so I can just buy a few now and leave some for later. I love the blends too but please don't mind me pointing out it's not evergreen bow its evergreen bough as in cow it's the bough of a tree. Just wanted to point that out hope you don't mind.
This is a very helpful series Lou. I'm wondering if you'd be prepared to suggest a 'starter set' of oxide colours? I have one set but I'm baffled about where to go from here to gradually build my collection.
I would always suggest starting with the primary colours, mixing them to see what colours you get by the ding those together and the next set being colours that are very different to the blended mixes xx
Beautiful demo, Lou, but we American types distinguish between things like tree "bough" and Christmas "bow". The tree one rhymes with "thou". Sorry, can't help myself, but love the vid!
Great color combination. Can’t wait to see the next colors.
I am loving this series!
