I have just found you on youtube. I love your style of making cards. They are different to anything else I've seen. Love them. Thank you. I'm watching from New Zealand.
I just love the watercolor look with distress oxides. But I would never have thought to mix crushed all of Mermaid Lagoon and seedless preserves together. But they work amazingly well! I now have this added to my list of oxide color combinations that I love!
Just LOVE these techniques, Kristina! So pretty! So unique!! And I LOVE the “surprise” each time! AMAZING what Distress Oxide Inks can do w/the water! Soft, gentle and serene! The embellishments on each are PERFECT!! ALWAYS find it such fun to watch your “creations” come alive! TFS n’ HAPPY CREATIN’! :-))
I know, right? You can't please everyone. I think people forget Art is something beautiful to different people. A thumbs down is just people that aren't pleased with anything. It's so silly. Kristina is a great artist. I agree these cards are so pretty and simple. Plus - she is sharing her knowledge. It's a double win.
Such beautiful colors you achieved just using the distress inks! So simple in their design, but oh so beautiful! Thank you, Kristina for another watercolor video. ~ katz baugh
I really love the rainbow card! I'm kind of amazed that the colors stayed bright--you did a great job not making mud. :) That's often what I end up with when I'm trying to watercolor a rainbow look. :P Anyway, thanks for sharing, & have a wonderful day! :)
Just love the cards.. so simple yet so intriguing with all the colours..no problem doing one colour watercolour like the blue one u made but I struggle mixing colours to form splashes of rainbows.. but I think if I practice that technique I might be able to make cards like those ... Thanks for inspiring me to keep trying 😘
Kristina, you have did a wonderful work here. I was actually worried on what products to be used for water coloring instead of the actual water color palettes.. and you helped me out... big hugs.. 😊😊
🙌🏼I love your tutorials Kristina! Can you please tell me what kind of paper are you “smashing” the Distress Oxides colours onto? You were using it as a pallet and when you added water to it, the paint beaded up.
I been making card like forever. last year I made a sister birthday card and I paint stripes with rainbow it gave me so many idea because of your videos and I almost about to my put paint 🎨 at the garbage lucky I did not put at the garbage . I am going to post that card I made last year and post at Instagram....now you give me more ideal from that paint. I love your videos 😍💘💞 you save me so much time and now I can paint with card 😜.....and also I can do craft to.and I did watch your other video with ink I always want to buy ink . But I did not know how to do ink but I did watch your videos of ink i learned so much now. And now I can buy it .
Hi Kristina 👋 thank you so much for taking the time to read and reply back to me very much appreciated , now I know what to bye I will definitely be giving it a go thank you so much for all your help 💞🦋 Lin in South Wales uk ☺️
Hi Kristina 👋 gorgeous cards u made my personal favorite was the last one .....please can you tell me did u wet your paper first, and if u used ordinary watercolour paints would you get the same affect, thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy day to share and post have a lovely weekend 💞 Lin in South Wales uk
Linda Eastment No, I did not wet the paper first, but I have done that in the past. You can get a similar effect with watercolor paints, however most watercolors are not quite as reactive after you sprinkle the water on top of the dry painting. That’s where Distress inks (regular and Oxide) really shine.
These are great!!!! What a beautiful and simple way to watercolor. Really pretty. Thanks!!! What watercolor brushes would you recommend for a beginner? Take care❤️
I just found you! I am watching all your videos. I hope you are still doing this. I do have a beginners question. I ordered my distressed oxide inkpads and some of them seem to be very dry. Do I add water to them? Thanks for any help you can give me.
Sounds like they need to be reinked. Water unfortunately will not revive them. I would suggest contacting Ranger first. They'll likely replace them for you.
Excellent 👌.....tell me did you get such good results because you used watercolour cardstock? Do you think I good quality mixed media cardstock would be as good ?...thanks Jane North Wales UK 🇬🇧 🤗
I have just found you on youtube. I love your style of making cards. They are different to anything else I've seen. Love them. Thank you. I'm watching from New Zealand.

Divya Ruth ...negative people, they walk among us unfortunately . I always say...if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all.
Why do some people focus on a handful of thumbs down votes vs. thousands of upvotes?
That’s what I ask every time I watch a (watercolour) video.
Simply beautiful Kristina! You so inspire! Thanks for this tutorial! God bless!!
Love these cards and all of your videos! You are amazing! TFS!
