How do you keep the fastrack from rusting? I forgot a piece on my deck railing after a sales ad photo shoot. It rained that night and the track was pretty much junk. Great video though!!!! Finally something different than a " review" or " unboxing".😀
@@ricko3242 welcome to the madness so I've got a lot of videos on this topic, but I'm gonna film another one today and edit it up for you guys to explain everything I use no ox
Having 3 rails creates a track for the snow to follow. I wonder if small blocks set between the rails would force the show out of the "grooves" between the rails and push it to the side? Either way, AWESOME VIDEO! 👍😎
@@douglasblack225 noted I wound up doing that in the next video I did and I've got a small video. I'm gonna upload today. This was the very first time I've even done this so they will definitely be a lot of modifications done for the next snow.
Two questions, one do you think if you did this over again you’d use Atlas or Gargaves track? I only ask because Atlas O reminds me an awful lot of the way G Gauge track looks for outdoor running. Secondly have you ever thought about converting a locomotive to dead rail?
@@12361870 I would never go dead rail I like to be able to use the Cab3 base three I don’t have any issues with that and yes I would if I had the money I would go back with Atlas or guard Graves, but I have no issues with fast track
@@jasonparks389 I know man me too, but believe it or not this draws a lot larger audience and this is always been a passion of mine. I’ve just never been able to do it until we bought our first home. Archery is great do not get me wrong, but there is a lot of problems with the culture around the archery community and it’s just not something that I want to be around anymore at least for now.
We made a lot of really good videos and realistically didn’t get a lot of views for the amount of money that we spent on these videos, but the train stuff is cheap and most of it is free on the real railroad
Awesome video, the flashing ditch lights on the Union Pacific locomotive is really cool
Thank you, my friend
@@SouthernTrainproductions your welcome
My Daddy would have loved this! Thank you. I never saw one run outdoors before. Good job!

Man I watch all your videos and I know the one you are talking about. Glad to see you do it in 3 rail O.
Wow man lots of great shots of the plow. Glad to see you finally got to use it!
Man, I know I was so happy
Awesome! What about spraying some PAM cooking spray on the plow. I. did that on the snowblower to keep the snow from sticking.
Yes, sir

Pretty cool. I’m in NW Arkansas. We ended up getting about 6” of snow.
If one doesn't look at it right one would swear up and down,it was a real train plowing .looks so real.great job😅
@@randyrussell4331 thank you that was the goal
Way cool.
I'd like to make one suggestion spray the plow with either cooking spray or PB blaster it will make so the snow doesn't pile in front of it

Very cool, did not know you could run Lionel trains outside with water on it?
Oh yeah, I run them in the snow and everything
that's super cool. i want to build something like this now haha
Do it
@ man i don't got the money for that, that shit crazy lmaoo
@ me either
How well do the Lionel engines hold up when using them in wet weather? Do you waterproof them in anyway?
I’ve got a video fixing to be uploaded. Make sure to liking subscribe and hit the notification button. I’ll have it up in a few hours.

Need a lot more weight on the plow to keep it down on the tracks.
@@briancreegan827 no the blade needs to be longer. That’s what I’m actually working on it right now.
