I watched this movie like 3 weeks ago on "Amazon Prime" It was a absolute excellent movie. My god did he end up being a complete physcopath. Really good movie tho. I didn't know it was "based on a true story".
So he moved from SF to Upland (SoCal, east of LA- 400+ miles from SF) to attend Berkeley (which is near SF)... Sure, makes sense! Additionally, Upland is nowhere near Napa Wine Country, however SF and Berkeley are... C'mon, production crew!

The acting is pretty awful, and her little tantrum just now to her mom about not saying where she is going because she is an adult...excuse me but you are a mother and shouldn't just be wherever with no one knowing where you are. It appears to be a very cheaply done movie - the constant background music is meant to fill the place of tension which seemingly doesn't build, the endless greetings and hugs are also for time spending fill, the making faces and non stop frowning is again cheap replacement for interior living and close up frames that would actually catch the emotional moments, the kid is a pest. A lot of boring, small talk that makes no sense at all. I try, but I don't see my self finishing this one, I won't have the nerves.
I definitely recommend it. I watched it on Amazon Prime. It was a great movie. IMO. I paid more attention to the actual plot, twists & meaning of the movie rather than the noises, the kid, etc. Lol. Soo idk,if u could put that aside. I recommend it. He's a complete manic. 🤷♀️
