Light Flickering Tutorial:
• How to Make a Flickeri... - Фільми й анімація
it's crazy to think that nobody has actually finished the video yet because of the time it was released
What about people who watch in 2x😅
Wow, that's weird
@@praddyumnyadav8137people do that?
It' was released at 2pm for me 😂 sucks to be in NA rn
I have finished it😅
i got so surprised when he guessed i was putting him in the background
what's even more surprising he said this as i was reading this comment
Everyone who Develop games/ Doing UA-cam or any form of Art can relate to 36:30 and any other break or depression time in those videos.
"So time have passed and I've done nothing. I wasn't even busy, I just sat around".
im ngl i love this style of video it gives a different type of connection that you dont get anywhere else like it literally feels like im in a discord call watching all this happen
His kimono fluttering in the wind would've been the cherry on top 😢 but great work my guy
quick tip for when certain things like the eyebrows and hair don’t move with the head bone; go into edit mode, select whatever isn’t working, click the dropdown menu in the vertex groups tab, choose “remove from all groups”, and then select whatever vertex group you want to make the mesh move with, and click “assign”
NO! NOT FOR FIXING! removing all vertex groups will remove the parenting of the bones to the vertex groups. what you need to do for fixing weight issues without going into weight paint is go to and select the unaffected mesh, remove that vertex group from that selected geometry, find the correct vertex group in the menu, and assign the geometry to that vertex group.
@@RoboThePanda That's not what I said lol. "Remove FROM all vertex groups." This will remove the weights of that specific bone from all vertex groups, so it's not overlapping between multiple. Similar to how the hair in the video was a child of the head, and spine 5 bone.
With rigging the fingers, use the "rule of threes". You can see the groupings of three edge loops on each finger, that's where the original joint was designed to be. Having three edge loops minimum per joint makes deformations look nicer also
I think the most incredible thing about his video isn't the end result or anything, it's how much he grows as an artist
Seeing someone else have the same issues I did with rigging makes me feel so heard lol
Pro tip I learned is to separate parts of the character, select parts you want to be moved by just one bone, shift select the rig, go to pose mode, select the bone you want, hit Ctrl + P and select Bone. It makes the issue with the hair and eyebrows go away instantly
we got the impact frame tutorial! trust in stylized 🙏
30:10 nice kill
Solid effort for sure, sticking with a learning process can be a real challenge. I struggle with following tutorials myself, much more of a hands-on kinda guy.
I think a stronger focus on animation will do wonders for you final results. You need snappier movements and better anticipation on the character. The almost linear camera pan on a 3d character only highlights the static nature of your character animation. If you look at the original reference video youll notice that the camera pans out in small jumps, often lined up with the effects around the character getting more intense. This is especially important since you often emulate 2d animation where smooth camera pan and zooms are rare.
Think about it this way, your animation is the bedrock for your entire sequence, it needs at least as much care and attention as all effects stuff.
For your character I think you would have benefitted greatly from having a pose before the explosion where the character contracts a bit so that the outwards movement afterwards has some anticipation. Probably something like shifting his feet and his pose tensing up a bit.
Also, always be careful with where you place the shoulder joint on t-posed models. The pose can often lead to you placing the shoulder joint too far out so that the character is stuck with unnaturally wide shoulders once the arms are lowered. I recommended a-posed models as their shoulder deformation is often easier to predict.
It feels so illegal to be this early bro 🤣
Holy shi- you're right
Since I started watching this channel a few days ago, I've never been more sure about wanting to become an animator. Thank you for your content Stylized Station.
Dude just recently started watching yesterday and I get blessed with this from what I have watched your development is crazy
I really value these long videos showing all of the hiccups and hurtles you encounter along the whole process. It reminds me that people don't just put out cool art and what not in one try. It's hard to keep in mind that mistakes are all part of the process.
Found one of your videos yesterday and immediately subscribed after. I’m an animation major so this is both educational and extremely entertaining. 🙌
I started watching your vids late at night yesterday and you got me through some tough night emotions, I am so going through more of your stuff to watch.
Just started watching u and man I gotta say u r the best beginner animator whom I started watching I just love the editing style and love the way u progress each video
And man u just earned a sub
DUDE THAT ENDING WAS AWESOME, I LOVED THE LITTLE SHOWCASE YOU DID OF YOUR PROJECTS :DDD
Honestly watching your progress on your videos really makes me feel satisfied and most importantly very proud. Keep it up man 🙏
Great video man I love the thing you at the end of the video can’t wait for more epic animations
Best of luck to you
AMAZING effects, you NAILED it! I'm inspired, man! Gonna add lightining effects like yours and push my project a litlle more to the anime realm because godammit, this is so BADASS
Love the frequency of videos, amazing man 👏
Love the vid mate. For your next one I would love to see try to create your own character models and texture them :)
I really love the sporadic disorganized style of video youve grown into. This really feels like hanging out with a bro while he figures out VFX
AWESOME!!! You make great content!
Watching your videos made me wanna get started with 3d projects asap.
Keep going! ❤
Great job bro, keep up the good work bro, you're doing great BRO!
AMAZING! Sick! I think the eye being blank makes it look even cooler
ngl…your stuff really encourage me to get back to my 3d art projects
Keep up the good work man the long videos are amazing..
That's inspiring as f, keep up the good work man👍 we appreciate the hard work you put in to your content🔥
One way to get the geometry that eludes you when you’re weight painting is to pose it and then paint the stuff that’s left behind while the figure is still posed. You’ll see the geometry snap to place and it’s pretty satisfying
Wow, that was amazing. The best I've seen👌
You just keep improving man. Keep learning.
its cool to see you learning blender 😄 love this video 😊
You said "what would you add here?" and my first thought was "a coat" and then you said "rocks" and I went "oh yeah, that too" 😂This turned out incredible, great work!
I don’t know if anyone has said it but I really like your voice and the way you communicate, you speak so gently yet full of resolution, determination, and courage and i find your words and attitude really inspiring! Keep up the good work! 👍🏼
Also, as much as I enjoy watching you create your work and seeing you learn, I stick around because I just really like your personality and voice, I find you magnetic and I feel like you just have such a good vibe! It’s not just the video or the recreation itself that is fun, but you yourself sir are really fun to watch and listen to! 😁😁
really awesome serie, as a ue5 artist I didn't expect to learn so much just by watching you do it, so thank you haha !
yooo the red and black post processing would be great for a black clover remake :0
love your content man
Dude ur drawings are goated
id love for you to animate that one Kaiju no. 8 Punch scene, loving your progress and i cant wait to see where you end up.
The end result is one of the coolest things I’ve seen ♥
This was great as always
Loved every second of this!!
Yo man these vids really inspire me to learn blender and ue5 so thank you for that
I need to create a pre vis in 2 days this really helped thanks
“I bet after a few videos I’m gonna really like it” 🤣🤣🤣
Crazy how it all started from flying mario
Why was I oddly happy throughout this whole video? This gives me motivation
Don't worry about the cam idea, but I do think that for your next animation it would be cool to see you do more multi-shot animations
Ok so I put this video as a background while working on my graduation project and in the end when you said something about duration I was wait this is long and then I checked it was n hour long, I was working to this videos full duration and I didn’t even realise and I was like wooooah ,,, ooo also good stuff man really love your content
This looks really amazing, congratulations my dude, the only tip or suggestion I would give is that, if you want to make it feel more like an anime, would it be to have the scene done in 12 fps, making each frame stay for double of the time, almost all 2D animation may be show at 24fps, but they are done in 12 frames, with each frame staying for double at the time, I think that could help with the feel of the Camera movement and VFX feeling too smooth.
Either way, it came really great, I can't wait to see what you'll come up next.
You are one of the most engaging UA-camrs I’ve ever witnessed. This is my first time seeing your page and I devoted well over an hour to this video. Great work sir.
The lightning looks magnificent ❤❤
I would like to see you recreate your first few animations in like a year. Then look at the different's. Oh I also think you would learn a lot if you create a fight yourself, so make idea's on paper and then try to animate it. You can go so far as you want with it.
29:15 caught me so off guard because I was editing a video and had you on in background 😂
This is the best one yet keep it up man🫡😁
huuge improvements, would love for you to revisit old projects in the future and apply some of your new big brain knowledge
Bro how is this guy not more popular he’s actually amazing
I love this channel.❤
I just LOVE your videos! Keep it up🔥
Btw you should learn sound design, it can take your art to the next level
48:59 a impact frame can be whatever color you choose, but black and white is the choice most animators go for. Long as it has impact it's an impact frame
I'm no pro rigger but watching you delete that mesh when youcpilda assigned it weight in edit mode triggered me to the point of shouting 😭.
Love your videos.
the lightning looks insane wtffff
you are just like guts from berserk looking forward to your next struggle/video :D
I love these hour long videos
👋
everybody make this the most liked comment right now
Would love to see you try clothing animation it adds so much :)
Personally I'd love to see to see how you tackle liquids in VFX maybe in a video featuring power from chainsaw man cuz she controls blood 😊😊
Bro this was better than the freakin anime and the song..... Duh crazy
I just find u and now I love youre Videos
Bro this is amazing🔥✨btw I was just wondering, could you do manga panels animation?
Officially your best project so far 8.5 out of 10, the animation could improve a little bit but the vfx are isane.
love ur videos
quick tip to improve your animations : every time your character moves, whether its a little head tilt like here or any subtle movements, you have to use every body parts (except maybe the feet or the legs if your character is sitting, you get it). When we move even for small actions, our whole body is involved. It is a simple thing to keep in mind, and by combining it with other animation principles it'll greatly improve your work and make it more believable !
Bro here is a suggestion can u try to make the scenes longer cuz it's wayyy cooler if u do and loved this scene this was the best one so far ❤
When bro makes the lighting bolts he is literally so deep,
You should do the Godspeed one next.
suggestion: Make a animation of someone dancing and also try to make their hair flow with their movements
50:11 Those lightning bolts be looking quite fun and I think it wouldn’t be bad to use for a Black Flash project from JJK just saying😏
By far my favourite video
21:58 GOING SUNNY. WE NEED A REMAKE OF ONE PIECE ATTACKS VIDEO PLEEAASSEE
Hey, amazing video! As for what to learn - try learning Houdini for procedural meshes (aka don't create the rock meshes by hand in Blender).
"use it however you want"...
I edge to your videos
you should totally stream this so you can get real time help and tips to finish videos faster and create even better animations
I always appreciate the trashing on photoshop's pricing coming from another artist because it's just insane LMAO keep up the good work! as a 3d animation student your videos help me get motivation and inspiration all the time ❣
This huge improvement from just getting and random model and sword oh and please make a hero my academia fighting sequence
I'm ALL FOR you streaming your progress!! But I do wanna know, what platform are you gonna stream on? UA-cam or Twitch?
Your video teach me more than a tutorial❤
"I know it looks like I'm progressing at a super fast pace but I'm really not."
Dude, I don't know how to break it to you but when I was in school we did an entire MONTH class on how to rig a character. And while at the end of that most everyone was better at it than you are you still did basically the first week and a half of that course in a DAY! So either you're faster than you think you are or my schooling was garbage.
... Probably that second one to be honest.
😭
It would have been great if you would have modify the way the lights affect the character according to the vfx's ... Naybe for the next project... Anyway, great video man, you really are truly amazing!!! I'm proud of you
ik ive said this everywhere i said it on ur tanjiro vs rui vis and on one of ur community posts but i want to see you do the daki vs nezuko i feel like itd be quite a challenge with the obi attacks and whatnot but i feel if youre able to figure stuff like that out early on than itll make animating later down the line quite a bit easier
You should try Gon's animation next :)
Oh man oh man This is madness
Quicktip: You can select the geometry you want to modify in Edit Mode, change to Weight mode and then apply the desired weight using the geometry you selected in Edit Mode.
make your own 3d anime history ( it's not hate, ur animation is so good that you can create your own thing )
Streams would be cool! It would also offer a chance for real-time feedback and advice ^-^
I think it'd be cool if you learned morn animation, like making the characters have more movement
Loved the video! I've been working on a ue5 JJK short movie of Gojo using Hollow Purple 200%. I'm new to UE5 and Blender but its been fun and I'm learning alot.
Any tips on doing 'cursed energy' the way you did lightning? so say I draw different blueish blobs with black ink outlines, I think warping that the way you do over like their hands or something would get the desired effect. I may do your patreon so I can get the files to have something to work off of lol.
I use photoshop for impact frames too! its my holy grail. so many shortcuts you can take using the magic wand too. and once you're done, you quick select all of the white parts with the wand tool (or all of the black parts, then hit "L", right click, inverse select) and then ctrl+c, ctrl+v, should duplicate it on a new layer, then go filters>blurs>gaussian blur to add glow (helps to select the blurred layer and make the blending style "screen").
53:53 you did a technique im super familiar with! the cone shrinking down to the cylinder and then bursting in the last 2 frames, feels really powerful. You probably know them, but @dillongoo is a 3d animator who does impact frames in their anime "cat version" fights. ive actually referenced some of their work.
