Been waiting on this! Been wanting a half slice but not necessarily an Antix2. Told Pete this might be the one . Don’t know. Sometimes watching your on water reviews doesn’t help because your just so damn good you make all boats awesome!😂
Just got mine. Did you notice the plastic is thinner? The hull gives more than I am used to when I push on it. My comparison is an older remix 79 that is stout (and heavy) and a new RMX which has way less give when you press on the hull. I took some non-scientific thickness measurements of the cockpit rim thickness with calipers and sure enough, the sweet ride appears to be thinner (at least at that location). I wonder if this was a conscious choice by LL to cut weight. I guess time will tell the tale of durability.
@@WadeHarrison thanks for the reply. If you didn’t notice anything unusual, then I am prone to think it is a manufacturing defect. I sent LL a message and I will see what they say. I love the way it paddles so I am really hoping to get this sorted.
@@WadeHarrisonjust FYI for anyone reading this, LL ended up sending me a new hull. Honestly, from a business standpoint, I would have expected them to just replace it if it broke rather than preemptively. Glad they stand by their product.
Ok I retract my comment on the drain plug, it’s not IN the handle area like the other (cough cough) brand that did. Would’ve been better just not running the drain plug though but looks like a sweet ride overall.
Love this boat! Maybe they'll do a Lg someday. Till then ill paddle this
Yeah, It's such a solid design.
Shane knocking them out of the park!!🔥
Thats 5 new whitewater boats from LL in the last few months very impressive!

@@WadeHarrison I think you missed my edit!😆

That name fits perfectly! It just looks like a sweet ride… can’t wait for the on water review.
Exactly I thought so as well
Nice! Can't wait to see the Hot Whip!
Yeah trying to get my hands on one
LL are awesome boats, great plastic!
They seemed to have really focused on WW this year
Is it a planing or a displacement hull? Maybe a little of both?
A mix of both more planning then displacement
the kayak manufacturing has become very competitive , which is good for all, Goat with metal handles😁
That logo is like old school Rat Fink art work
Yup

I have not noticed no but might want to message LL if you feel yours is thinner all rotomolded kayaks can vary widely?

Looks like another great boat from LL. All of the brands are designing with the times, building very worthy boats, whatever suits your fancy.
For sure it’s great time to be a kayaker it’s so stacked out there now sleazy
I like the look of this. Unfortunately LL don’t sell in the UK so I can’t try one till I am back in France.
System X is going to bring our boas in so they will be available in the UK.
That’s great news right there!
@@shanebenedict3204 brilliant! I look forward to seeing them.
3:26 🤔Which manufacture will be meant...I can't imagen who could it be... maybe it starts mit Lett and ends with mann idk😂
Hahah yup
How does it splat /squirt compared to the large ripper 2?
Not the same as a quick answer
I've never been a LL fan. But this does look interesting.
This one is definitely something different
You should do a on water ducky review video for the IK crowd
hahha sure i have paddled a few here and there
Yessir!!!
Will have more coming out on this one soon!
@@WadeHarrison Can't wait! Great stuff, as always, Wade.
Looks like the end of the Braaap has arrived
I think the braap will live forever

exactly!
Looks like a similar design as the waka goat
Interesting comparison the hulls are drastically different though
@@WadeHarrison So, in your opinion the goat and the sweet ride are totally not in the same "category"?
The liquid logic goat?
You might have nailed it 🫣
@@WadeHarrison Speaking of Waka, I’d be keen to get your take on the new Stoke if you can get your hands on one!
Same length and width as the Steeze. 7 gallons less volume than the Steeze and 5 gallons more than the Goat. A slimmer (perhaps more playful) Steeze?
