How do you connect fog lights on a v6?

I'm adding fog lights to my v6, the console I pulled that had that arm rest had the switch. I also pulled the fog light brackets and lenses. I should have pulled the wiring harness but it was cut and when I went back today it was gone.

My brother put fog lights in his v6 and you can tap into the wiring harness for the convertible top (even if yours isn’t a convertible). The V6s didn’t come with te fog light wiring but still came with the convertible top wiring

So I discovered in my '98 v6 Both Convert and Fog plugs were left in my car. I'm looking to to do an actual professional almost factory like job of adding the fogs into my car. What would I need aside from the switch and fogs themselves, I have a harness I spliced together, If I splice that into that plug as shown in this video would it work? Im no electrician lol. good info for removal of the switch...98 cobra. do you know how to remove the center part? want to replace with upr billet. theyoffer no install info and I called. not the company they used to be. . I did remove the switch easily, any help appreciated. dw

I have a 97 mustang, I had fog lights added. I think they are draining my battery. If i unplug that switch will that stop it?
