Yea, every single video I say a blooper or something wrong, hard to talk for 20 minutes and get it all right, drives me nuts. Usually if you know what I mean and I don't mislead you I leave it in and publish, then I start thinking about the next video LOL.
I just got a Banana Cinnamon male to breed with my female Mystic Potion! I'm really hoping to see what can come out of their line, but it will be a year or two before they are paired. Really excited! PS - All of your snakes are so pretty and look so healthy! Makes me delighted to see such a responsible caring breeder.
While I've always enjoyed looking at other people's ball pythons, bamboo is the only morph that has made me want to own one; just the single gene bamboo is stunning...
Thanks for the awesome video, it really helps me out since I'm trying to make plans as a beginning ball python breeder myself! My ball python is a male pastel ghost. I'm saving my money and hoping to get a breeding size or near breeding size female who also has pastel and is at least het ghost. But I really want to get a bamboo someday soon -- ever since I saw Bobby, I was in love! :p Thanks again and have a great day.
Love your videos Chris. You've inspired me to start breeding snakes. Gonna start 2020 with a pb fire to a 1.0 lemonblast.but i also bought a banana yb pied x enchi HRA het pied for a long term project.
Hi, Chis, I am atsrting in the hobby, and really like your videos a lot, the rats ones as well de balls ones, so I bought some females, I like the. Brights ones, so I got a Leopard YB, A Mojave henchi pastel and a cinnamon spotnose, what males would you recomend to start breeding? I have plenty of time, si ce they are hatchlings... Thanks for all the avise and knowlege you share in your videos!!!
Current its very hard to find nice looking 1-2 gen balls, it looks like that he whole world market is empty. In a 2021 african video from M&S Reptiles in germany he said that he can't even keep his contracts with odd balls from Africa because demand has increased so much in Corona times that even the africans have no animals left. 5-6 years ago the african ball market was completely flooded, its total crazy.
Cool video I've had Ball pythons for 20 years now...I see alot of people getting into breeding now..The prices have dropped I think it will start to drop even more so tighten up ..I think we will see alot of people giving up there pythons in the next couple year's. I'm not going to breed some females I've been waiting on this 3rd year of my plan....gotta keep numbers down I'm thinking 🤔. I have genetics from royal constrictor design in 2014 male female pair and wow to see them color's get better in time is all worth it
I have a Jeep Wrangler. It strikes FEAR into hearts of all locksmiths. Every single one. ALL of them tell me Wranglers are the HARDEST ones to open!!🤔😂😭

I usually agree with you’re content but I feel like the best thing you can do is buy a expensive gene ball pythons like pastel won’t give you a very good return on investment while if you bought sunsets you could live of a good clutch
Cool I just subbed. The lesser I picked up from you last year was great looking and she eats like a champ. It was a bit of a struggle to switch to rats but once I did she never missed a meal.
Lmaoo (9:29) so funny you said that "this is a male maker because his father was a male and he is a male lmaooo I don't know maybe this CBD I smoked has me not hearing right lol great video

Awesome video Chris, another day done. You're killing in as of late. My first five are; - Lightening Pied - Killerblast DH Pied/Clown - Leopard Pastel Clown - Pastel Pied - Pastel het Clown A few DH lightening pied, het clown and het pied. Excited to get started in 2020!
Hi Chris! I'm new in the ball pythons world...i already have a female but i don't want to breed her , she's so pretty but she is a Spider enchi ( i didn't know about wobble etc when i bought my first one). Now i'm planning to buy another female and i fell in love with a BEL ball python (butter x mojave), can be an option for future breeding projects? thank you very much and sorry for my bad english.
Back in 2013 my friend had a male pied, 6 months old. 350 grams ish. Sired 3 healthy clutches with MUCH larger females 😂 some of them develop really fast.
I just into breeding. I was given a massive female, about 3700 grams, 6ft long Normal ball. I then purchased a male python and according to the breeder he has 5 genes: Pastel, Pinstripe, 100% Het clown, lesser and paradox (which was obvious). I’ve paired them up and immediately got a lock and have seen at least 3 successful locks from them over the past couple weeks as I’ve paired them and separated them so I know I should get eggs. My question... what do you think I’ll get from them and how do you price these guys out? Thanks!
I have a male pastel Mojave male and my mom is looking into some females bc my female mojave won't breed I was wondering which would be the best female you think Pastel Phantom Lesser sk axanthic Yellow belly Het pied Hypo Het clown pos blade Pastel g-stripe Woma Leopard lesser pastel (this one is 800$ though so my mom might not get it) Also my banana won't eat i have had him about 6 months and I've tried live(he was raised on live) and thawed I have to watch his drinking because he will drink but after water will dribble out his mouth like he didn't swallow or something my dad looked in his mouth and he said its mouth looked like something was wrong but couldn't tell. We tried force feeding him as a last resort and he would start swallowing and he would eat half of it before he spit the whole thing out my dad noticed he wasn't opening the part they use to breathe while eating and drinking but after a while he opened it up. I will put live in and he just hisses at it and won't do anything when it climbs on him. He's 2 yrs old and we bought him from a well-known good breeder and we think he gave us the snake cuz we were going to buy a different one but 2 days before we got it he said some people that were going to buy it he hadn't heard from for a month but he said they finally messaged him back so he gave the snake to them so idk if it was a coincidence or if he decided to say that so he could give us his messed up snake and my mom can't find where she e-mailed him so she can't tell the dude and see if he will take it back... Also if you happen to know anyone with an green iguana can you ask if theirs has major mood swings? I'm going to this repticon and am hoping to find him a harness so I can take him in pet stores and try getting him more social since he only likes me and my mom will need to watch him in 2yrs when I go to college. ( first time she held him he pooped and peed on her =/
I’ve watched just about all of your videos and they are the best! Love them! My question of the day is do you have a family? Wife and kids? Husband? (Not judging or assuming anything) Do they love what you do? Are they involved?Wish I could live your life. I grew up in the suburbs of NJ and I can’t imagine having my own farm even though I would love to. Thanks! Love, Shanon
I watch your videos at least once a day if I don't end up binging sometimes I watch the same ones twice or 3 or 4 times depending on if I really want to engrave the information into my brain but you really are great at explaining everything and can tell by your smile that this is your true passion and it's not just about money and that is always a great thing as a breeder because it means you put health over any profit and id like to know how to buy a snake from you because you have beautiful snakes
Hey Chris I would love to get in touch with you and build a relationship, my brother and I are really wanting to get into breeding!! We've got 5 right now and I just have some questions I'd like to talk with you privately!

I would have to say that by far my favorite single gene morph is the pinstripe. I have two and my female was my first snake and will always be my favorite. Of our 11 BP's single gene wise, we have my pinstripe, a clown, a normal and a pastel. Most are two genes. We have an OD pinstripe, chocolate OD, vanilla cream (vanilla fire) a bumblebee (pastel spider), firefly (pastel fire) and champagne red axanthic. We have one 3 gene and that is our CG enchi YB. Looking forward to all the fun combinations we can create in there. :)

I have 22 ball pythons as of right now and I am starting to breed them this year. After years of thinking about it, I took the plunge. I think if you plan to breed the best 5 snakes to start with is the following. Pastel - M, Mojave-F, Lesser-F, Pinstripe-F and Cinnamon-F. So, these snakes are on the cheaper side ( $50-$100 each as babies) and can produce some really cool snakes. Once you get the first breeding season under your belt, you can ramp up with the higher end Co-Doms like the Coral Glow and Bamboo.

Hey Chris. I am a beginner collector breeder. Question so I have 2 males that I may end up breeding. 1 is a pastel Desert Ghost and the other is a Black Pewter Candino. For the Black Pewter Candino Should I pair him with a Black Pastel Candino or just a regular Candino? For the Pastel Desert Ghost I'm thinking of pairing with a Pastel Yellowbelly Het Desert Ghost. Yes I've been on morph market calculator lol. This will be my 1st time breeding so I'm asking for opinions as I think these combos will produce babies I can sell to support my hobby thoughts?. Thankyou for your time. Also I have not seen yellow belly in desert ghost yet does it enhance it at all?
pastel, pin, lesser, banana, and (to pair with the lesser to produce a lucy), another lesser or a mojave or a butter. I'll throw in a 6th BP that'll probably a spider to produce bee combos.
I was wondering if you could cover the tax side of income from buying and selling snakes. It seems like you are spending alot of money in the beginning but your not making anything. Could you claim any of that on your taxes when you do start making money?
Thank you for this video. I just acquired 14 BPs, some adults and mostly hatchlings. I want to start breeding strictly as a hobby. My question is, should I mainly seek to obtain females or males or, should I obtain equally number of males to females? If this makes sense.
Hello Chris. I have been following your awesome tips for a while. I have a question about the Axanthic lines: can you tell me what is the line that doesn' t get very brown getting older ? Many thanks in advance !

I was wondering if you could cover the tax side of income from buying and selling snakes. It seems like you are spending alot of money in the beginning but your not making anything. Could you claim any of that on your taxes when you do start making money?
The real tax advantage comes when you spend everything you make so you don't actually make a profit. Profits are taxed at almost 50%.
Thank you for this video. I just acquired 14 BPs, some adults and mostly hatchlings. I want to start breeding strictly as a hobby. My question is, should I mainly seek to obtain females or males or, should I obtain equally number of males to females? If this makes sense.
One male can breed up to 3 females, most people have more females.
Dude you’ve taught me so much in such a short amount of time
What's the best breeding plan? Going for visual resesives or building up combo hets?
I think maybe a little of both.
Great video. No enchi?
I've looked on morphmarket and I haven't seeing any bamboo that looks even close to your bamboos if there was I'd have it buy now lol
Wish you were closer to were I'm at because I like to get one of your bamboos a female

My first ball python is a pied male, what het pied female should I get
I'd shoot for as many genes as you can with the het pied.
Hello Chris. I have been following your awesome tips for a while. I have a question about the Axanthic lines: can you tell me what is the line that doesn' t get very brown getting older ?
Many thanks in advance !
I think all Axanthic lines have good and bad examples of the morph.
@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures ok thank you !
Wait what about a double het? That's what I have and I'm still trying to figure out what I want to pair her with.
What are her genes?
Freaking awesome video! Thank you!!!
Glad you liked it!
@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures I just now started planning on breeding ( 2 yrs from now ) and I didn't know the Bamboo was part of the blue eye leucistic.
