Marcel's videos are killer. I'm borrowing the Zhiyun and Canon R6... I am not used to shooting digitally. I'm old school, so it's crash course. This guy manages to run around like a madman and keep focus... with no Monitor. Any suggestions Patrick. I really need help, as I have zero budget to put together this sizzle reel I'm making, however, I have killer equipment at my fingertips.

Looks like you can use re-center to mimic a point A to B shot. Was looking for that feature and this isn't exactly that but can replicate it in a way. Cheers!

Hey Marcel Brandel, firstly I would like to thank you for your videos they are very helpful. So I just got a new Crane 2S and a Sony A7S3, I'm super confused about connecting both of them, I'm using USB C - C cable, it seems to be working but I'm unable to figure out how to control camera operations from gimbal such as start/stop recording; I searched all over the internet and found no answers and then thought you're the only person who could help. Hoping that you could help, thanks in advance.

Got my first one after years of using a glide cam. Watching your videos to make it work - and I have to say..... my initial impression is that this thing is crap, of mine is just not working properly. It will not go into follow mode unless I hold the button, and I can not find the hold/click in the menus. It also seems to have a mind of its own and just starts wandering. It is going back to B&H and I am going back to my manual gimbal. Glad it works for many, but not for me. I had high hopes for it.....

Is it not possible to connect the Crane 2S to the BMPCC4K to access things like focus, record/pause etc? There is no guide to go through that stuff as far as I'm aware, if it's even possible. If it's not possible, then that's a huge flaw.

Mine won't spin in Vortex mode (with my Fuji XH-2s).
to enable V Mode: double press the mode button. To enable POV Mode: double press the mode button ??? Also, inverted mode seems to be only possible when you shorten the arm, oder?
why do you have a cable attached to the gimbal what does that allow you to do
I got the pro kit, and i dont know how to activate smart follow using the transmiter. I cant get wher os that button in the zhiyun play app 😅

The arm in the back is down and away from the screen on the back of the camera, but that is not how the crane S2 is shipped. How do you get it to be that way?

Hi. Does anyone know what the blinking orange LED inside the "USB-C Camera Control" and "Focus/Zoom Control" connectors on the Crane 2S means? I have seen that it flashes at different speeds, depending on the way we use the Crane 2S, be it PF, POV, etc... but it is a light that is hardly visible, since it is very dim, and also, It's inside the connectors.
Thank you for your videos Marcel, they are really illustrative and easy to follow. I recently purchased my Cranes 2S but after doing all the calibration and set up I notice that on PF mode the camera responds better when I turn to the left, in fact the camera follows my object turning all the way to the left, but when I try to follow my object turning to the right the camera does not turn, and it almost feels as if it were resisting. is this normal? is there way to fix this? Thanks

Is the zhyun transmount transmitter 03 AI compatable with crane 2S??
It compatible with Crane2s, but it need to connect the camera which also compatible with crane 2s and AI transmitter to work together.

i have the Zhiyun Creane 2S, i use with a BMPCC 6K, when i try to use vortex mode, the gymbal vibriting a lot, i cant solve this problem. can someone help me fix it?

Thank you very much for your immediate response. yes i am using the lens holder. but the solution was to use the Camera Backing Base. It's strange even though I have the camera mounted with a cage. thank you again.

hi that's not included in the kit, you'd need to purchase it separately, I bought it on Taobao by typing in 1/4 screw to cold shoe mount side handle

HELP! can you please help me set up the sony A73 with crane 2s? It's saying unable to adjust parameter when I'm trying to complete the transmount imagge transmission package set. I watched your other turtorials but having trouble with the camera settings in my SOny a73. Thank you!
hi for sony cameras my last understanding was it can only do start and stop recording, not able to adjust iris, shutter and iso, but it might have changed

I don't understand the difference between F and POV mode...
they are very similiar with the only difference that in F mode, you can't roll the camera to the left or right

inverted mode became a hassle for run n gun shooters. this is a big cons for wedding filmakers honestly
we all know that. Better show me how to adjust smoothness in F mode
